just the beginning with the moon gave me chills, there's something incredible about it man, nostalgia is fucking awesome. TYVM for posting this I really appreciate it, I like watching these when I get stressed so I can just remember a time when everything was much more simple.
Yep it's all about the money now, only hope lies with indie devs. Edit: Money is important, but I miss the creativity and care old games had. AA games still have some of that love at least :)

Yeah unlike a certain game... COUGH COUGH DEAD ISLAND RIPTIDE COUGH COUGH. This game brought me so many memories, and it made me feel free to explore and brings the storyline more unique and was amazing! I miss this game, I might get this game for ps2 if I ever get it
What really makes the game for me is the music. Every single planet's music enhances the level in a different way to convey a certain emotion/feel of the level.
Actually ratchet and clank games were one of the worst ps2 games with frame rate issues. If you ever try to emulate them on a PC they'll run on something like 1-10FPS because there's simply way too many models to process at once.
This vid lasts for 11 hours, and I’ve watched EVERY SINGLE MINUTE. Why? Because I grew up with this! And I just found my old ps3 with all the R&C games on it!!🤩
Going back to this game, the bit where Ratchet and Clank are at odds with each other always feels so... strange when you come into it after seeing their future as best friends and heroes. Though it makes sense as well since this WAS their first adventure that created the bond we see in the future.
I have to be honest though, but I love playing ratchet and clank. They're my childhood games. I still play them on the PS2 trying to max out on all three with bolts, weapons and skill points.
That whole part in planet Rilgar at 8:23 was hilarious xD I fall asleep to these longplay so cuz it helps me not to have lucid dreams. So waking up to the spongebob clips I was like what?! Lol xD

Wow I was 8 when this game came out😂. Even though I really enjoyed the 2016 reboot I still personally prefer this game. The character development between ratchet and clank is something that the reboot really lacks. The OG ratchet and clank will forever be my favourite in the series.
This is my favorite game/series on the PS2. Drakan The Ancient Gates follows super closely :) This was also the very first console game I ever played. But I have a real tough time picking between any of the 4 games. I find myself playing Deadlocked the most for some reason but it makes me miss the tight platforming of this and Going Commando. This game can be challenging to some, and for good reason. Money/Bolts are needed, often in huge numbers. Fortunately it’s not as bad in the second game, and it’s barely even an issue later on. However, others prove, it’s definitely a good game with challenges to behold. This is including, but not limited to, beating the whole game with only Ratchet’s wrench.
I am not nostalgic for this game like many of the people in the comments but i really dislike some parts of it, like the fact that everything takes 1 bar of health and some enemies are to overpowered and it encourages you to hide in a corner and exploit the stupid AI of the flying gunmen. I wanted to like the game because I played tools of destruction and a crack in time, but this game I won't come back to because some parts are just too frustrating and the fact that ammo doesn't replenish after death is really really stupid because all the bolts i collect now i pay back, its dumb to say the least. Maybe it is easier for people who played it 15 years ago to just let nostalgia speak but playing this game for the first time in 2020 as a 22 year old is not the best experience haha Thanks for the amazing video btw, its great that I can see some of your ideas on how to engage stronger enemies! You really helped me a lot!

This game can be challenging to some, and for good reason. Money/Bolts are needed, often in huge numbers. Fortunately it’s not as bad in the second game, and it’s barely even an issue later on.
However, others prove, it’s definitely a good game with challenges to behold. This is including, but not limited to, beating the whole game with only Ratchet’s wrench.
i will always love this game. My childhood greats were Sonic, Spyro, And ratchet and clank!
You just can't deny it! The PlayStation 2 has the best library of any video game console ever!
Lets go down memory lane!
I used to play on the PS2 & seeing the movie makes me wanna have some early 2000s vibrations for me. 🙂
Maybe it is easier for people who played it 15 years ago to just let nostalgia speak but playing this game for the first time in 2020 as a 22 year old is not the best experience haha
Thanks for the amazing video btw, its great that I can see some of your ideas on how to engage stronger enemies! You really helped me a lot!
I played this game. It was a blast.
