I have never bought a pair of BF shoes. These astatically look like my style. For my first pair I will probably go for black. If I love them then I will add the white. I wonder when the 2.0 will come out.
Hi Jake, thank you for introducing me to Evan and Tolos shoes. I’ve been watching your product reviews for a few months, and started my barefoot journey a few years back with Lems, and recently with Vivo, Xero, and Wildling. Love the clean look and functionality of Tolos so I will give them a try!

I just received my white Tolos and I was hoping It would be like the gold logo design but they seem to have changed it to a white logo which isn’t the biggest problem but definitely like that gold logo look.
Ive said it before and Ill say it again. Evan absolutely hit the nail on the head w/ this shoe. You can tell hes been a barefoot shoe guy for a while. Every single barefoot shoe company has flaws with their shoes in my eyes, in various ways that I wont get into. Primus Lite was close but the Tolos Archetype is the FIRST SHOE in barefoot shoe history that nails every criteria. Hearing him talk about it confirms that he sees the same issues w/ other shoes that I see.
@@thatfitfriend Now I question if I get version 1 or wait for version 2 lol. Ill be honest I want good traction specifically for angled metal foot plates in the gym. Hacks, pendulums, etc. I lift in socks atm and it doesnt have the greatest traction.

Have you tried the Xero Speedforces? I've bought two pairs of them and I can't say I can find a single issue wrong with them, wearing anything else in the gym feels awful including my Vibrams/FeelGrounds/Splays

Technically...depending on who's defining the "grounding". Most minimalist shoes could qualify as grounding shoes depending on how you're defining them regarding stack height!

After watching the whole interview, I have to say I really vibe with Evans woo woo. People always ask why i am barefoot all the time and I always say to connect with nature better. @@jlcrimm1 Honestly performance aside I think the whole Xero line is kind of ugly. So it fails that aspect of it which is still important to me.
