For a while I was like wait there stealing these people's money. But then it showed the last part at the end so it was all good.

I fully comprehend your comment and it is a good one as it inspires moral questioning and moral thoughts.
However, had the video makers taken the peoples donations and spent it on themselves, they would still not be stealing and it would not classify them them as thieves.
A thief is someone that steals something that does not belong to them from someone else. The beautiful hearted people that gifted the dummy with money in this video volunteered the money. They chose to do so of their own WILL and they also chose to not check if who they were gifting money on their own accord to was actually a real human, alive or in need of the money.
They assumed that it was a real human being, they assumed that a cup on a sidewalk by a human being means that the person is a beggar. What if the person just fell asleep inbetween beverages and then woke up to find people had put their filthy money that had touched a million different hands in his clean drinking cup?
No one made the people put money in the cup by way of force so it wasn't theft under duress.
The makers of this video only made an offer of street art and that is all they did regardless of their intention for doing so. There was no sign, message or story of deception "lies" that was put with the dummy and it was the people who donated money that created the story (lie) to accompany the scene in their own minds.
If there is anything to learn from this video/social experiment excercise is that there are still beautiful kind hearted people in this selfish system physical world, people need to be more diligent about who or what they are gifting their money, time and energy to, we can only make offers and honour them and why did noone try to wake the dummy and see if the "person" was alive or in need of something money cannot buy?
