I don't always take time to comment, but I do have to say I came across your channel when looking specifically for a review of this product, and wow, I am so impressed and subscribing immediately. Your reviews are pretty much to the point, you cover everything a consumer is looking for, and you got it done in 11 minutes without the usual needless rambling most run through. Great review and great channel!
I have Wine O'clock, a beautiful blue based red. I also have the Covergirl Matte Idol liquid lipstick in the shade Walk On. The formulas seem very similar. I love how it doesn't get crusty even with a couple layers and it passes the kiss test with no transfer, important to me for a red color. It does wear off the inside of the lip area fairly easily though. I like it overall since it dries quickly with a matte finish and no stickiness, doesn't transfer or crumble and stays fairly comfortable.
It’s really an interesting choice for covergirl to launch new matte liquid lips. Lately it seems like all I hear about is how much people are over matte lips
I agree with you that people seem to be tired of matte liquid lipsticks, though I would go as far to say that matte finishes in general are becoming less popular in favour of more dewy/glowy finishes.
I was on the glowy lips bandwagon until COVID hit. Matte lipsticks transfer less on my mask so I wonder if anyone else is starting to prefer matte as well
These are somewhat reminiscent to me of Colourpop's Ultra Blotted lips, but they're in a more awkward place because they're more pigmented than that, so they wind up looking slightly patchy instead of artfully sheer. But at least I do appreciate that they don't look especially dry/crusty. Maybe the patchiness would be helped by spreading and blotting the layers out with a finger instead of just using the applicator itself (that's what I like to do with matte liquid lips to give them a softer and smoother look). I'm also glad they started out with a wide shade range and some very nice nudes/subdued colors - though that almost neon Bella Bellini looks amazing. :D Thanks for featuring these!
For any recent viewers this lipstick lasts all day, eating , kisses and drinking. Does not smear, has almost no flavor, doesn’t feel like its sticky or gritty on your lips. It is like wearing nothing. Hands down the best all day color I’ve ever tried. Colors are brighter on lips than in the bottle ( just to note). I will not use any other product from now on other than this amazing lipstick. Great review ( video) also my lipsticks have zero fragrance or taste so that is really the only thing I disagree with in this video. If it had a flavor or taste I would literally chuck it ..
These look fun! I agree with another commenter who said they were reminded of the ColourPop blotted lip formula. To me, these look like they will be a lot like Lime Crime Plushies, which is also a blotted formula, and I'd be curious to see how they look once blotted with a finger. As long as they are comfortable, I'll definitely try one. Prosecco Pop is calling my name!
I like how CG started out with a good set of range, but somewhat muted. This looks like it's in line with k-beauty blotted look... making it easily accessible (and wearable) for consumers? I find that generally k-beauty shades come in 3 tones of bright corals and maybe 1 rose; and then release with 3 more shades of brown tones.
You should check out lilybyred, rom&nd, hera, bbia, apieu, clio, eglips, ipkn, and merzy they all have pretty great lip products especially rom&nd and hera and extremely large lines esp rom&nd they have a p big korean color range
Darn. I would have been interested in trying the two lighter colors but not going to take the chance on the fragrance. I'm sensitive to fragrance in skincare and makeup. I always get "fragrance free" only products for this reason. Oh well. Pass...
Wow the Prosecco Pop and Spritz Blitz, looks so elegant and natural. Love it

Thank you so much!
Very sancerre looks beautiful
These have a nice range of shades. Could you say more about the fragrance-chemical, fruity, perfume like, etc.?
The scent is like candy

I thought the same thing. Why matte lipsticks as a summer launch?

I won’t use regular lip products when I’m wearing a mask anymore it ruins everything - I’m using matte or lip paint that dries , period.
Are these velvet?
Will you please review the new coffee edition from maybelline?
I've really missed your swatch videos! I'm glad they're back!
Do you think you could do maybelline's new eyewhadow pens?
Eh, I decided not to. They're really unexciting to me, and the applicator type is just not great.
I cant seem to apply these evenly. What on earth am I doing wrong???

Reminds me of the rimmel stay matte liquid lip. Same smell and formula.
Thank you for video!❤️
Do you know of any pages that post up about Kbeauty new releases?
I thought we were done with matte lips? Ugh 💜
