That’s debatable. She’s done multiple videos about how every time their journey was interrupted, they would travel the world and try to reset etc etc. the average couple can’t EVER afford IVF, let alone weeks or days off to travel the globe to forget the disappointment. Flashy? Maybe not. But out of touch? A little.

Every time a lot of people get disappointed or feel overwhelmed etc the first thing they think is "I need to get away" it can be maybe running from the issue but out of touch? No. But as they've explained they heal and deal with things. They also get away snd can afford things. Let's let people cope how they want as long as it isn't hurting them or anyone else

She also is packing for traveling on plane so that could also account for the extra clothes especially if she doesn't how long she'll be out of town and doesn't want to pick up clothes while out of town. But even as someone not blessed enough to be a mom I know it's probably too many clothes unless they'll be staying for an extended stay.
I was adopted and lemme tell you, you guys have made one of the greatest decisions ever. You’ve blessed little Story more than you’ll ever know. She will grow up knowing she was so loved and chosen! Also to have a birth mother who was selfless to go through all of pregnancy and birth so she had an incredible chance at life is something you should tell her because it’s such a beautiful thing. It’s so sweet watching you be a first-time mom and completely over prepare. 😍 all the seasoned moms are laughing at how many outfits you packed, but honestly we were all like that with our first and it makes me so excited for you.
Hang clothing by sizes. It helps you not to miss something you wanted her to wear. Also it helps when she grows you have the next size ready and you can clear out the old size all at one time.
Watching you ‘chaos pack’ for this little one while being filled with all the emotions… it’s heartwarming, and a little funny (because it shows that you’re nervous, but caring, and overpacking, and unsure…). You’ll figure it out, no differently than someone that grew and birthed a child. YOU are her momma, you’ll know her better than anyone, and she will know that she can go to you with absolutely anything, forever. You guys got this!! (Also, put the diapers, wipes, and changing pad/blanket on top next time for easy access!)
I was always raised to believe that my birth mother loved me so much, that she knew I would be better with someone ready for a baby. I have nothing but love and respect for my birth mother and she was first person I thought of after I had my first baby. Best wishes to your family!!

So often I've known & seen adopted kids who found out they were adopted "accidentally" and then they ended up only thinking that their birth mother was somehow "less than" or was some kind of horrible person. Granted, that is sometimes the truth but why burden the child with ideas like that, ya know? Aside from adopting you, that's the best gift they gave you! ❤
hii im a silent watcher and came here after watching the vlog.. i just wanted to say it's no coincidence that you got the call right when you were emptying your nursery. God has seen how faithful you have been in your waiting. being joyful for people who have gotten what you have been praying and trying so hard for.. and giving up your nursery knowing that He is able to work it for your good was the final test in this phase..
A good tip that I recommend is washing all of the baby clothes/swaddles in non- scented baby laundry detergent, and sterilizing all the bottles and pacifiers before use. ❤😊

I was adopted too when I was a new born. Hearing your story has helped me so much to understand more of my story. I never knew what my parents went through and what they thought. And I know my mom probably felt very similar to you. She even said to the same thing you did. That the most important thing was for me to know how much they loved me and how much my bio mom loved me. Lmao the amount of clothes you brought is so cute! You were so excited. That’s like the amount I’d bring for a week+ trip with my newborn. Also 2 tips, 0-1 months is the same as newborn (0-3 isn’t), and please wash everything before putting it on your baby’s sensitive skin!

Helps to use like a zip lock bag for an outfit, so socks and/or headband etc all go into one bag so if you are in a rush all you need to do is grab a bag and it has the whole outfit inside. As they grow also helps to do that with snacks. But man saves so much time when you're out and baby has a blowout. Always try to pack so that everything is easily accessible so changing mat on the side so it's easier to grab just that without taking everything out first. You will find what works for you as you both learn how to be parents and learn about each other and your baby and as baby learns about you. It's new for you and it's new for her so take it one feed at a time, one diaper change at a time etc.

There’s no better gift than a child and when it’s a girl there’s such a bond between a mother and a daughter. U2 are so deserving of this child and she could’ve not had better parents. We adopted our daughter 13 years ago and it is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING we have always told her she was a gift from GOD and we picked her to be ours .

I adopted a baby boy as soon as they delivered him the mom handed him over to me 24 june 2023 and it became the best day for the rest of my life.

Helps to use like a zip lock bag for an outfit, so socks and/or headband etc all go into one bag so if you are in a rush all you need to do is grab a bag and it has the whole outfit inside. As they grow also helps to do that with snacks. But man saves so much time when you're out and baby has a blowout. Always try to pack so that everything is easily accessible so changing mat on the side so it's easier to grab just that without taking everything out first. You will find what works for you as you both learn how to be parents and learn about each other and your baby and as baby learns about you. It's new for you and it's new for her so take it one feed at a time, one diaper change at a time etc.

Congratulations! Today is my baby’s 19th birthday and I was feeling a little nostalgic and sad because I miss being a mom to a small baby but you have made my day. There’s no better gift than a child and when it’s a girl there’s such a bond between a mother and a daughter. U2 are so deserving of this child and she could’ve not had better parents.
