India is all set to deliver the first batch of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles to the Philippines on April 19. New Delhi had announced the over 370-million-dollar deal with Manila in January 2022, making it the country's first major defence export order. As per the deal, the Philippines will receive three missile batteries for the missile system, which has a range of 290 kilometres and can travel at three times the speed of sound. The Indian Air Force is spearheading the operation to transfer the heavy equipment, with help from civil aircraft agencies. This deal strengthens India’s position as a major defence exporter in the region.

The Brahmos missile is fast as heck and can reach all major cities of china like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, etc. and all major cities of Pakistan too like Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, etc. Also this is not 60’s technology because in that time anyone could intercept anyone else’s missiles but Brahmos cannot be intercepted by china or Pakistan. Only Russia and India themselves can intercept it.
