I've also have issues with H addition and I'm struggling with learning to hate that kind of stuff just for the only goal of be the better version of me that I promised long ago. I do really loved this animation and the message it conveys.

Other kids started bullying her friend in an attempt to hurt her, which drove her friend to suicide. Her mother then accuses her of driving her friend to suicide, and that was the last draw which made her run away.
SPOILER WARNING THEN Her mom always basically either ignored her or treated her like nothing, for previous circumstances involving her father cheating and abandoning the mother. This made her become cold or lonely socially speaking, she didn't particularly enjoy socializing and had no friends, not that she was unhappy because of it, she just wasn't interested. Another girl with no friends approached her and then became good friends. Their classmates, incapacle of bullying Sayu, who would have defended herself, targeted her weaker friend, who more of a typical shy outcast. While Sayu discovered it and reassured her friend saying they would fight together, the girl ultimately committed suicide. Sayu was destroyed by this, overtaken by grief and guilt, thinking that she just focused on herself thinking that they would fight it together and ignored how weak and vulnerable her friend felt. She blames herself for not seeing it and inderectly allowing it to happen. After that she stopped going to school and her family being quite prominent in her area, many people from the news were going to their house to ask questions and get their stuff. The mother was annoyed. In one particular instance, she insinuated that Sayu might actually have killed her friend herself. Sayu, incapable of taking it any longer, just got out of home. Her brother caught her, allowed her to get some time out seeing how things were and gave her a fair bit of money to keep her for a few months outside. But Sayu ultimately spent it all and got into the dynamic that you already know. They girl is lost and didn't know what to do or when to return home. She just was wandering around and found a way to keep herself with a roof, if only for a short time every time. And here we are.

The other two are either illegal or so duplicitous and jammed full of red flags that any sane man would go "Yeah, I'll pass, thanks."
