I be been considering making a griffin for my grandson, he said he dreams repeatedly of feeding a griffin. I just can't thank you enough for the ideas!
I am sure you can. You may need to adjust the temperature of your iron to account for the additional layers and work in short cycles of heat. The feather may stick to the fabric. I always think the best thing is to play and find what works for you :)
i need to make almost mini feathers. so do i cut the bonding material down lengthwise or what would you do? i am knitting the birds but would like to add realistic feathers. thank you.

what an amazing dream. sounds like a great project. I wonder if you've done it
I'm going to try this to use in millinery. The part I really like is being able to combine different colors of wool.
Have you tried putting parchment paper over the wool? It might protect your iron better.
Thank you Elle for the tutorial what a great find.. and thank you Pam Duthie after watching your tutorial of Loren Leaves, and introducing this to us!
Very nice! Could you not put a thin cotton cloth between your iron and the feather to prevent it from sticking or pulling?
