I actually wanted to do a video with Gon, showing his character development throughout the series, because it's one of the most surprising and cruelest ones I have experienced yet. But yeah, it's still a long time until I have the necessary clips for it -- still the idea stuck in my head.
So there was only one chara of the main 4 of which I had all the scenes ready so I figured I'd give it a try. I seem to always come back to you Kurapika, don't I?
Turns out this got a LITTLE out of hand rather quickly. Figured that would take around a week to finish and would be around two minutes.
Haha.
Around the two minute mark I was ready to just drop it but screw me for sending around a beta and getting asked (and even threatened!) to finish it. The people I am talking about know who they are.
Anyway; this project is only about 80% done. Why you ask? Because on thursday Vegas closed on me and the project was lost. Literally -- the whole file just vanished.
So to get together this much I spent my weekend and quite a few nerves. Let's just say at some point I had to reender stuff that was only two seconds long and still it was enough to let Vegas shut down.
I still hope you guys can enjoy it!

This is one of the bests amv's I've ever watched. I have a huge empathy for Kurapika, so it was even more heartbreaking. I'm literally in pieces.
You know, there is something almost sublime about your editing in darker videos that I can't even begin to fathom. All I know is that I feel strange things tugging at my heart and guts. I definitely am looking forward to a Gon video, because just as you said, it is one of the most cruelest development. aghh, just thinking about it excites me!!! Work your magic and send us all to a beautiful place :)

O.O Okay,I must admit myself for the lack of words to describe how much I love this masterpiece.Each second was absolutely perfect,I swear! First of all,I bow down to you for capturing in great depth and all true colours the personality & its development of Kurapika,the way you so powerfully portrayed his aim,relationships with his friends & how eventually he is driven to insanity & evil (the fact that you added the clips of his friends struggling with this yet still accepting him as a friend tore my heart to pieces).I must admit that you have a true talent when it comes to picking voice overs & knowing when to add them in between the song (also it was really awesome of you to post subs in there),the sequence was so clever & it really explained a lot the story to a person like me,who has not experienced the epicness of HxH yet.Now,you really made me anxious to check out the story so badly,I wish school wouldn't keep me so occupied,I would read it straight away after watching this.Nonetheless,I adore the way you created such powerful atmosphere by using such beautiful colours & greyscale,adding in perfectly darkness & overlaying the texture,all the connotations of emotions were clear & overwhelming.On top of that your timing was so stunningly created using so many different awesome transitions like Push,the way each one of them was added so perfectly to the instrumental,how their smooth movement helped to create incredible tension.Yet,most of all the choice of scenes was so impressive;each action & facial expression was significant & the way you displayed strangeness,uniqueness of that universe made my jaw drop.This video has everything,definitely your best so far.

And take your time with reading HxH - it won't run away and we all know that school is more important. The right time will come and then you have to make sure to write me every single thought of you!

The beautiful editing that pulls at ones heart and mind, the perfect blending of the dialouges, the music and the video. The skillful hands that had this beautiful magic to create so many beautiful videos. I watched it at least 50 times. I LOVE IT.

Yes!!!! It's finally here! I'm happy to say that I was one of those irritating people who were nagging her. Can you even imagine that she wasn't sure if she would finish it? That masterpiece! Of course I'm cool, so I saw this vid... part of it earlier, but seeing a full versions is totally different!
My sis, who was next to me commented it like "It should be named What Happened With You, Kurapika?". She's right, isn't she? He was such a nice boy, but Togashi decided to destroy his mind :P There are anime like Shingeki no Kyojin, which start bad, everything in this world is bad and generally characters are unlucky and unhappy. But in HxH they are nice and cute and BUM we are crying with them. It's ten time more painful :P

Fourth: Allow me to give you a hug, for Sony Vegas is also giving me issues. I haven't lost a full file yet, but I have lost work and had to redo some of it. Which was a pain when I IC'd and it started getting really bad the last day. Yeah. My Sony Vegas also crashed every time it played this mask I spent a good three or four hours on (I had just started motion masking) so I had to delete it and just use the clip unmasked in fear it would happen again.
