The giftedness of Ole is just another level! Reminds me of Keith Green. True to their message yet skillful musicians too

Ole Borud is, hands down, one of the greatest musicians, composers of contemporary music. You may think this an over statement, let the music speak for itself...

No such a thing as over statement. 100% agreed, my friend

His extreme metal work is simply otherworldly and in its own league.

This was a thrill to be part of! Ole and I was invited to play with this fantastic band of Netherland musicians, including the awesome Martin Verdonk (perc) who put the band together. We had ONE rehearsal just running each song down once or twice. Erik Smith drums

Very nice Erik. It's a pity that the best norwegian musicians are famous abroad, and no-one ever heard about them at home ;)

it's nice that you played the gig reading the charts :). Knowing how to read really pays off in this kind of situation

@@fernandodantas7852 indeed, and especially in this case where we had one-1 run through of each song the day before. Rehearsal time is often limited.

@@eriksmithdrummer I'm curious: you were reading a drum's chart or a more general chart (with chords, melodies and rhythm indications)?

Este hombre es increíble. Era magnífico tocando metal extremo en EXTOL y es magnífico tocando Rhythm and blues. Me quito el sombrero!

Ole’s a musician’s musician for sure. I’ve listened-watched for days. Brilliant musicianship but where’s the visual concept, stage presence, personality, the mystery in the music, the story...?
