I'm from Sri Lanka. Although 75 % are Buddhists we live like brothers and sisters with other religious groups. In short, Buddhist Philosophy tells that your body and mind is 99% of the time in our life run Auto without our conscious control. When this is understood , there is a great relief ! As long as we identify ourselves as an individual , it gives us lot of Dukka ( unsatisfactory natture) then Death and end ! This understanding takes you to Nirvana , the Supreme Freedom!
