    I can see why teams may actually like Levis and he isn't as bad as pundits make him out to be. A lot of his flaws seem to be pre snap recognition and O LINE!!! My GOD his Oline and protection is terrible. Also some of the plays I question. Some of the route combinations caused unnecessary traffic.

    Levis has all the tangibles (size, big arm) but his intangibles are LACKING. Decision making, pocket presence, and ability to read defenses are all questionable at best. He's a project.

      People keep complaining about the oline, and while it didn’t look good, Levis straight up ran into or was oblivious to half of his sacks. He also looked rattled the whole game, not what you want to see when you have to face nfl lineman

    No way they are saying THIS guy is in the conversation for #1 draft pick. He is a project simply because of the tangibles but saying he is the best QB in the draft is where I’m confused. I see second or THIRD round. The days of drafting a QB because he looks the part are over. Texans please don’t do it

    he's a good athlete and his throws look really good, but he seems to really struggle with recognizing the pass rush pre snap and dealing with it post snap, more so than any other qb I've seen. That's a really big problem to have because the college pass rush has nothing on the league. With how saturated the qb market is, I think hes honestly a day 3 pick. But it'll be interesting to see how he develops.

      Thank you! Look at the difference in Bryce's numbers after losing Jameson Williams and John Metchie. Look at how much better Jalen Hurts got after they traded for AJ Brown. I feel like this doesn't get factored into QB evaluations nearly enough.

  • @mmkay32
    @mmkay32 Рік тому

    Man this was NOT a good game for Levis fans. 8:54 he bails on the pocket wayyyy too early when he had more time. Follows it up with a poor accuracy high throw to a receiver on the next play that’s miraculously caught off the tip. 10:58 he tries to force a ball into triple coverage with a man down the seams wide open for a touchdown. Those are only a couple mistakes in a game riddled with lots of happy feet pocket presence, panic decisions and missed reads. This game could be a prophecy towards his struggle in the league

      @@aardee175 Carson Wentz was an MVP candidate on a team that eventually won the Superbowl (yes I know, without him). Can't call him trash, Carson was well on his way to a good career before the injuries and adversity happened and he folded. Now? He absolutely sucks but don't act like that was always the case.

      @aardee175 Рік тому

      @@codybennett244 I would argue that Carson like Levis continuously showed how limited he was. They are both inconsistent decision-makers who rely on their WRs bailing them out on deep throws. They both struggle with consistency on short-intermediate throws. Neither one is athletic enough to rush their way to success. Both struggle with pocket presence and often fail to notice pressure even if it's coming from within their line of sight. Both like to flirt with danger by throwing right in the paths of DBs, thinking their arm strength will save them, in short-intermediate game. Finally, both can make some really good throws from time to time but will only get more exposed as they play in the NFL

  • @codybennett244
    @codybennett244 Рік тому +1

    Something to consider when you're evaluating Will Levis is that he isn't working with the same weapons as Bryce Young or CJ Stroud. In this game at least, it looks like his best playmaker is a true freshman wide receiver. He's far and away the best player on this offense which is why you see him forcing throws. He shouldn't be starting day-one, but don't be shocked if 5 years from now he's the best QB from this class.

    • @user-hz4sd1zi9l

    • @aardee175
      @aardee175 Рік тому +1

      The running back Chris Rodriguez is the best weapon on offense, followed by Barion Brown and then Levis. Also, Bryce's receiver's this year were significantly worse than Barion Brown and Dane Key. That said Levis was behind a bad Oline and in a bad scheme. He's not anything special but can be an above average QB in the league

    I'll say it again. This was probably the toughest defense Levis faced and he was lucky he got a win. There's plenty to like about him, but watching this tape again, he misses a lot. People whining that he has no time. Do you think he's going to have more time in the NFL? Kentucky game planned for this defense. This defense game planned to stop the run. If Levis didn't have big TEs to catch those jump balls this likely would have turned out bad. And Florida simply didn't keep up offensively.
    Listen to the announcers. Pass too low, pass too late, didn't pick up the pressure, RB and QB not on the same page, couldn't see the wide open route. He throws off balance way too much. He seems to depend on his big arm instead of playing the game with his head.

  • @tonyevers2663

    We saw some good, and some ugly. Most of the ugly was in the 2nd half. On the TD that was just over 60 yards in the air and looked effortless. Unless this game was just an aberration, he doesn't seem to be able to create plays off platform, every off platform throw was inaccurate and he couldn't escape any of the pass rush.
