How could a wooden ark survive such a violent flood?
1. The ark was made of a strong and flexible material (gopherwood).
2. The heavy load was an advantage that gave the ark stability.

Ron Wyatt's expedition is still so far the best documentary of Noah's Ark in this location in 1977. Succeeding explorers never mention him and pose as if their documentary is the first. Thankfully Ron Wyatts films I still here in UA-cam.

Modern concept of "species" is not the same as "kind" in the bible. Probably only several hundred different kinds of animals would have been taken into the ark. The sea animals stayed in the sea, and many species could have survived in egg form. Plus the ark was so huge - the size of modern ocean liner and had 3 stories. Noah could have taken smaller or younger varieties of some larger animals.

If you read the story it clearly states that it was two of unclean animals and much more of the clean animals (the ones they could eat) - so they took on enough animals for them to also be able to eat them.

Not even structures made of stone are safe from being scavenged (with a few exceptions), much less structures made of wood.
If humanity restarted with Noah and his son's, the wood from the ark was the primary material used in houses, tools etc.
It only needed to float and so there was no need for a rudder and a means to propel it. So when the flood started to rise, the ark was in multiple danger of hitting cliffs or mountainsides. Then the chance of the ark not settling atop a land mass when the flood subsided.
And when they survived hunger or eating each other onboard the Ark, still, the problem of not having anything to eat on land as the eco-system had collapsed killing all fauna and flora and nothing would grow for hundreds of years as the earth's soil has been marinated in a mixture of 97% salt water and 3% fresh water.
They obviously had food there and the water came from inside the earth, obviously, so that means fresh water as far as i know

It is amazing and concerning how much people believe in their own knowledge and wisdom. Like when scientists say this particular thing dates back to this, it is considered as factual and backed by scientific evidence. And so, when scientists say something is impossible, then it must be a myth. But what do we truly know?
When they said that people, most of the time, see what they only want to see, doesn't it apply to people who don't see what they refuse to see? Perhaps our understanding is limited by our personal beliefs.
Noah's big flood is written in the Quran. Muslim believe it as true because Allah says it is.
Just curious if the polar bears and penguins and Kangaroos were on the ark. And also what were the lions and tigers eating during the flood and how big was the storage for all those creatures to feed.
It is really interesting, but the story is full of loopholes..... The first thing is that its impossible for all kinds of animals to fit in there + food+ water...
The animals are feed with Gods power that's why we can't imagine it. No one will ever find mythical stories coz we're simply just called lowly humans.
How could this be when the entire ark story is a fable?
