The power meter discrepancy is an easy fix...I've had to do it to countless meters myself. There are adjustment pots on the internal circuit board that moves where the power meter needle is located when keyed up, you just have to make sure that the power meter needle is zeroed into zero every time that you make any adjustments. If you know that your radio is keying 10 watts, adjust each pot for the corresponding wattage scale to 10 watts, and there you go...totally calibrated and adjusted for an accurate reading. I've had many a meter that I have to do a total re-calibration on, it can be a pain in the ass, but it's worth it in the end...I've actually had to go into a set of meters and re-calibrate everything...the SWR meter and the modulation meter as well. It can be done, and it's worth it so that you can get an actual accurate reading, of course I calibrated all my meters using a Bird 43 as the reference baseline meter, and it worked out perfectly.
Does anyone make an SWR Matcher for the SO-239 connection, to go between a Stryker SR-995 and the SRA10MM? I can get the antenna tuned to an SWR of 1.3:1 but with something like a PDC-5 could have it flat 1:1! Any ideas on current matchers?
Hello I am using a translator, which measure must have the coaxial cable with connectors that goes from the calibrator or SWR meter to the CB, acquired one of 3 windows but did not bring manual or instruction booklet and I could not use it, thanks and regards Hola estoy usando un traductor, que medida deve de tener el cable coaxial con conectores que va puesto del calibrador o medidor de SWR al CB, adquiri uno de 3 ventanas pero no trajo manual o folleto de instruciones y no he podido usarlo, gracias y saludos
Anyone looking to buy one of these go to riglot.com. They have them for 87.99 plus shipping. I bought one along with a new roadking mic and a wilson 5000 magnet mount. They have good deals and super friendly.
I have that is nearly perfect on all meters according to the scope and birdie meter..... spray your sticky needle with electronic clean and lanolin grease.

They've discontinued them now 2023! I have one & still looks new & works fine! My 2000 watt Dosey is tried & true👍🏿
Nice review. I really like that meter. A little more attention to detail than the Workman.

avg is not the same as rms
This meter is junk... I bought one new and as in this video the power reading is way off and the SWR needle sticks on mine....
a wattmeter is a ROUGH measuring device for RF no watt meter seems to be 100% true, it is made to give an IDEA of what you are outputting
