As A phins fan we choke all the time at the end of the season! But the bills choke allllllll the time in the playoffs!! I rather choke in the reg season then have over 40 years of that! lol
Not a very good analysis of the game. I think the main problem was Allen's decision making. On 2nd down, before the missed field goal, he had Diggs open for another first down on a crossing route, but instead chose to throw to the endzone and missed badly. Tony Romo knew this was his key mistake, but apparently Jim Rome didn't see it that way. But at least he not calling Everett Chris anymore. He learned his lesson!
Actually he has because the Super Bowl he lost to Tampa Bay was played in Tampa Bay's stadium and it was a covid year so the only people in the stands were hospital workers and first responders from the Tampa area so it was a home crowd for Tampa. The official NFL record books do not list it that way but in reality it was a road game.
Mahommes was not gonna struggle in his first road playoff game because bills defense absolutely sucked arse. Like leaving kelce wide open uncovered for a td lob throw. 😂. That one lost them the game right there too
2:17 I'll answer that question Rome, they have talked SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much shit in the last 4 years despite having won nothing ever. I don't mind talking shit, but you gotta back it up.
The Chiefs also sometimes seem to play to the level of their opponent. Buffalo is really good so the Chiefs turned it up a notch. I could be wrong about playing to the level of the competition, but I kind of think they sometimes do. Hopefully, the Chiefs will turn it up another notch against Baltimore because Baltimore can be scary good.
Over the past 15 years I have heard countless NFL analysts call Brady an above average QB. They said if you swapped Brady for Phillip Rivers or many others that NE would have the same amount of rings. Then he won in Tampa and they said he went to a stacked team. My point is there have been tons of QBs that had great skills but not when it mattered the most. Leadership, performance under pressure matters.
No the Bills had 8 starters out thay had a 3rd string linebacker and no Gabe Davis- the same guy that had 4 touchdowns against them in playoffs which set an all time NFL record. And yes every team has injuries but NOT 8 Including 3 pro bowlers. They never had a chance to begin with. And they're better than a whopping 27 other teams...
All those defensive injuries and they still never lost by more than 6 points. They were in EVERY game. They went from #11 in the AFC in early December to #2 seed in the playoffs. They didn't choke. They lost by 3 points on a wind-blown FG kick. Enough with the over-reaction.
Oh yeah. They totally achieved their goals for the year. I'm sure the whole team feels that way. I'm sure none of them are over-reacting to this loss. Again. And again. and... well.
Problem is we kinda need to “run it back” due to cap issues. Optimistically though, we hit on some draft picks this year and what they did down the stretch was impressive (thanks Fins for imploding). the Bills did not have a game finishing/winning plan. The plan to wind the clock down to almost zero, score a TD and win. They just started hoping for home run passes (which were dropped by so called elite players.) That would have left the Chiefs with 5 minutes to drive down the field, wind the clock down, kick the FG and win. The Chiefs have vast experience with this plan.
And then Mecole Hardman gives the ball right back to the Bills. I couldn't believe Andy trying to be cute in the redzone instead of handing the ball to Pacheco...
Norwood received so many death threats he changed his last name to Bass. His son Tyler decided to follow in his footsteps and become a kicker. Now you know the rest of the story.

I like the comparison but Stabler had a HOF defense and Offense in many years. I don't think the Bills are ever going to give him a " great" defense. The Raiders just ran up against the NFL version of the Bulls in the 70's. Steelers were NICE.
@@TehKaiserhe missed three total (one was a long attempt, two were well covered) but he also completed a bunch of short passes to put themselves into field goal attempt position. It's his long throw attempts at certain points in the game , combined with a lame run game that blew the game.

Pretty pathetic that Josh Allen went for the TD instead of throwing to a wide open diggs for an obvious 1st down they could have ran down the clock and kicked a shorter field goal or a td with no time left for Mahomes to make a comeback.
They should have never knocked Joe Montana out of the 2nd half of the 1993 AFC Championship game. It started a decade of CHIEFS playoff 1st round losses. We never forgot that day. Haha.
Absolutely. Bills defense and idiot coaching are why they lost. Bass makes that kick, bills defense would have allowed kc to go right down the field per usual
The chiefs were well balanced in rushing and passing. Bills rarely threw, so in that regards, they were cold. When they needed to throw for important plays, they couldn’t. Too focused on the run game, shocked the system when it came time to throw. The throws Allen was throwing were reminiscent to Tua’s throw selection at KC!
Speaking of throwing the ball, Josh Allen threw 37 passes, Mahomes threw 23 passes. So the Bills were definitely passing. However, the Bills had possession for about 37 minutes compared to 23 for the Chiefs. So I suppose each averaged a pass per minute of game time.
Besides the SN original wide right miss, what I always think of when it comes to the Bills is the Super Bowl against the Redskins. Every time Jim Kelly got sacked or knocked down, which was a lot, he would pat the Washington defense player on the back saying good tackle or something like that. Truly pathetic.
This is why if im a bills fan Im blaming Allen. As soon as he got them to FG range. He need to bleed clock. The missed kick still played apart if it but 2 shots at the endzone? The Chiefs were giving him the 5 yard crossings route for right or wrong
Don't blame the Bills. They played a good game, good enough to win 90% of the time. Give credit to the Chiefs. Remember this was not only Mahomes first road playoff game. This was practically everyone on the team other than Kelce and Jones first road playoff game and it was in as hostile of an environment as you can get. In that environment the Chiefs had zero false start or other pre snap home crowd related penalties in the game. That tells you how tough they are to beat in the playoffs. They have the most poise, confidence, and command of the situation in the playoffs of any team in the league now and they are going to be hard to beat anywhere, anytime, and anyplace in the playoffs as long as they have those things. They welcome the spotlight and the world wide stage in moments and situations that other teams are not comfortable in and are less experienced in. They are thinking about the result of winning the game when most teams deep down at some level or another to some degree are thinking about the result of losing the game. They are very Belichek and Brady Patriotsish in that regard.
The wide right is not even that important. Even if he made it, Mahomes had almost 2 minutes and 2 time-outs. All the Chiefs needed was a field goal. 99% chance they would have won it anyway.

When one of the sports broadcasters sarcastically dropped a banner congratulating the Bills on being the third best team in the afc for 3 years in a row I kinda thought “fuck yeah, why be ashamed of the bronze?” ✌️
@@robfalgiano Definitely. It’s a lot better and a helluva lot more fun to win the bronze than let’s say…..have the year the Carolina Panthers had. You all had a pretty enjoyable season overall and especially ever since Josh Allen arrived. I’ve said it before, if the Chiefs didn’t have Mahomes, I’d wish for a QB just like Josh Allen. The man is a special QB and athlete.
I suffered thru the Marv Levy years, we got teasing glimpses from Marty, Dick gave us hope. Deberg, Green, Montana, Smith, Grbac to make us cry…don’t hate Bills Mafia, we paid our dues. Now we get Andy that Philly chased out, Patrick that no one graded him that high, and Travis. You got the taste back in Kelly’s day and for good teams the AFC is a cycle. We’ll enjoy your tears cause soon enough you’ll be doing the same and rubbing our faces in it. Sincerely, Chiefs Fan.
But Green, Smith, and obviously Montana were good, good, and great quarterbacks, respectively. Considering the years played as a Chief, either Green or Smith were our best QBs since Dawson….until the arrival of Mahomes.
@@wiltchamberlainisthegoat13 no argument, my point was they took us almost where we wanted to go but didn’t quite get us across the finish line. So we know Bills fan disappointment. I mean we had Joe! Alex and Trent were class acts just like DeBerg. We’ve had so many slices of talent but always came up short, just like Buffalo. But the NFL evens out, they’ll get their shot, just gotta stay humble.
This was not the super bowl people. It would of tied a divisional game, thats all.
Josh Allen's fault for the loss he lacks judgement.
The “dump in your pants” drop is the only thing that made me smile today. God, that thing is funny.
I blame Diggs for the drop and Allen for the subsequent dirtball in the end zone more than 'wide right.'
i blame the Chiefs defense for defending them
Allen missed a wide open under route to make the field goal a 30 yard chip shot.
Allen was hit by his own player which effected the throw.
bruh his own lineman gets pushed into him mid throw, you really gonna put that on him????????????????????????
@@asacloutier7530yes. It's called pocket movement. If he doesn't move in the pocket, that's on him.
As A phins fan we choke all the time at the end of the season! But the bills choke allllllll the time in the playoffs!! I rather choke in the reg season then have over 40 years of that! lol
Josh ain't beetin Mahomes! Big Game Pat, low rent Josh!
The Viking fanbase is right there too
Can we transfer the title Factory of Sadness from the Browns to the Bills?
They can be the Assembly Line of Disappointment.
He learned his lesson!
muffalo swills the sequel wide right!
Everyone claiming Mahomes may struggle on the road in the playoffs, clearly doesnt know his road record compared to his home record lol.
Mahomes has never lost a playoff road game......lol
Actually he has because the Super Bowl he lost to Tampa Bay was played in Tampa Bay's stadium and it was a covid year so the only people in the stands were hospital workers and first responders from the Tampa area so it was a home crowd for Tampa. The official NFL record books do not list it that way but in reality it was a road game.
He hasent played in many
Mahommes was not gonna struggle in his first road playoff game because bills defense absolutely sucked arse. Like leaving kelce wide open uncovered for a td lob throw. 😂. That one lost them the game right there too
Yeah and it only took the Bills D missing five of their starters..
2:17 I'll answer that question Rome, they have talked SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much shit in the last 4 years despite having won nothing ever. I don't mind talking shit, but you gotta back it up.
Chiefs are swag surfin to the big game. Thats kind of an amazing thing about this Kansas City team. All they need is a meme to rally behind.
The moment he decided to make a commercial with Peppa Pig, you know it was coming.
Exactly right Rome Mahomes would've setup Butker for the winning kick
No the Bills had 8 starters out thay had a 3rd string linebacker and no Gabe Davis- the same guy that had 4 touchdowns against them in playoffs which set an all time NFL record. And yes every team has injuries but NOT 8 Including 3 pro bowlers. They never had a chance to begin with. And they're better than a whopping 27 other teams...
Gabe Davis had 4 touchdowns against a depleted Chiefs secondary after Tyrann Mathuei was injured. Injuries effect both sides.
Scott Norwood School of Golf. We fix your hook with a slice 👍
Again. And again. and... well.
They Choked hard.
This is how losers speak. Winners don’t make excuses or see a silver lining
Truth is if the Bills scored a TD... Pat would have driven KC down to a GW TD. A Bills made field goal just would of been an easier job for Mahomboy.
Problem is we kinda need to “run it back” due to cap issues. Optimistically though, we hit on some draft picks this year and what they did down the stretch was impressive (thanks Fins for imploding). Hit on some picks in coming draft, get Milano, Bernard back, and get a speed WR and who knows. Blown opportunity but it is what it is. Go Bills.
What does not break you will make you stronger. It will provide you stronger intestinal fortitude. Wide Wrong is never a good thing when your playing against the Legend, Patrick Mahomes. Deal with it.
Bills are knocking at the door and they will eventually go through.
I would feel sorry for the Bills if I wasn’t a lifelong Dolphins fan…… I have my own problems… lol
Bills and field goals in championship formats just don't down well. McDermott will not coach you to the next level.
Goody on you 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👈🏽
The Bills are the Cowboys of the AFC and Allen choking like Dakota P.
Jim Rome, you have been in this business since the 90s, when I was a child. You only have 36.8K subscribers. People don't like you, Jim. And, I think the Buffalo Bills have a brighter future than the Minnesota Vikings historically, or a handful of franchises in the NFL. We have Josh Allen, we are going to win a Super Bowl. Jim, you're also the guy you got beat up live, trolling, Jim Everett, and he warned you, too. Jim, Patrick is older than Josh. The window is open.
Jim Rome will always be a P.O.S but he's right about this.
Do the Bills make any changes coaching wise after this game?
No ! Given the injuries(and I know every team has to deal with them) that the Bills had this year McDermott did an excellent job , hate that comment if you want but I think it’s a fact….
@@chalesgolding5314 don't hate it at all. I'm just curious as a football fan. And the rate of which coaches are being fired this year is not normal

"I don't think anyone wants to play the *Bills* in the playoffs, and the big reason is *Josh Allen* ... He's great."
Put Pat on the Bills with that Defense and Josh with the Chefs. The Chefs win by 30 going away

Pat 2 Super Bowl Rings, 2 Super Bowl MVP’s, 2 Regular season MVP’s. Josh hasn’t even won a regular season MVP yet.

Poor judgement by Josh Allen not throwing a short pass instead of going for a Long TD pass

Buffalo, the game was winnable. Allen did not play a full 4 quarters. That 4th quarter killed the Bills chances.
Josh Allen is a stud that team would be 5-12. Without him
the Bills did not have a game finishing/winning plan.
And dont forget the stadium was built on a indian burial ground . When we move across the street Hopefully its a new start.
We in Buffalo , have an owner problem. Bills mafia has no idea how true it is.
McDermott going for that fake punt and failing miserably. Gives Mahomes an ultra short field. WTF?!?
And then Mecole Hardman gives the ball right back to the Bills. I couldn't believe Andy trying to be cute in the redzone instead of handing the ball to Pacheco...
Earning it Decade after Decade! That should be the Bills motto. Or just Wide Right.
They actually gave Norwood a Honor that Same Year. Buffalo bounced back. Bit They didn't know That Early.
When did the Bills re-sign No Good Norwood? I would think he is retired by now.
Norwood received so many death threats he changed his last name to Bass. His son Tyler decided to follow in his footsteps and become a kicker. Now you know the rest of the story.
Well, I did not think the Bills would win the Super Bowl. Another playoff game would have been nice. Go Ravens!
You want to know what Bills Mafia did Jim? They disrespected the football god (Mahomes) and real god (Taylor Swift)
Josh Allen missed his WIDE OPEN receiver in the endzone on 2nd and 9.
He had his foot stepped on. Did u even watch
Yup. Short. Because Josh is actively breaking his body tryna look tough. He's shaved half a decade off his career already. For nothing.
@@Dr.JeremyDunks he had his foot stepped on. Your comment is bazzar

I think Lions and Browns fans might disagree with you Jim. Hopefully the Lions get to the Superbowl this year
7 points in the 2nd half doomed them. Josh should of audibled into more runs but he has an image to uphold
Chiefs made an adjustment and started calling run blitzes in the second half. Buffalo only ran for eleven yards in the fourth quarter and it wasn't because they abandoned it.
Uhhhhh.....the Vikings??
Josh Allen is like Ken Stabler. Like Kenny, Josh will eventually win the big one.
I like the comparison but Stabler had a HOF defense and Offense in many years. I don't think the Bills are ever going to give him a " great" defense. The Raiders just ran up against the NFL version of the Bulls in the 70's. Steelers were NICE.
No ways the Bills are as tortured of a franchise as the Maple Leafs smh 🤦♂️
Josh choked at the end. Trying to win it when he should’ve slow down a little bit
I realize that Allen has a CANNON, but i think shorter passsing plays would've gotten them over the hump
He wore himself out running the ball in the 1st half.
He missed two short throws on the final drive that possibly wins them the game by not even trying to throw them.
@@TehKaiserhe missed three total (one was a long attempt, two were well covered) but he also completed a bunch of short passes to put themselves into field goal attempt position. It's his long throw attempts at certain points in the game , combined with a lame run game that blew the game.
Was it really wide right??? It landed in another zipcode
Couldn't beat Brady either
Josh Allen looking to be another Marino. Great quarterback who can’t close the deal when it matters.

Wide right or 13 seconds. Take your pick.
Hahahahahahahahahahha ............
Pretty pathetic that Josh Allen went for the TD instead of throwing to a wide open diggs for an obvious 1st down they could have ran down the clock and kicked a shorter field goal or a td with no time left for Mahomes to make a comeback.
Josh Allen threw 18 passes behind line of scrimmage. He's not a QB. He he is a Fullback.
They should have never knocked Joe Montana out of the 2nd half of the 1993 AFC Championship game. It started a decade of CHIEFS playoff 1st round losses. We never forgot that day. Haha.
Damn right!!!
These Buffalo Bills are the old Kansas City Chiefs & Buffalo Bills from the 90’s #wideright #kcisthetown
Straight up. I remember the day Joe Montana got a concussion and Jim Kelly and the Bills went to the Superbowl
Truly pathetic.
wide right was against the Giants my man.
