Hi, just watching this and I think that your derivation of needed PN for the oscillator @1MHz offset is incorrect. Around minute 52 you add 60dB to the number in dBc to get your dBc/Hz, however it is not because you're at an offset of 1M from the carrier that you need to add 60dB. It is because you are assuming that your bandwidth of the receiving system is 1M.
