If there are small sample pots of paint available, can get them and paint on the wall before deciding which shade. Usually the lighting in each house is different so having a few sample pots to determine the exact shade of grey will be helpful.
Your videos are really fun/entertaining to watch that it seems like the video ends as soon as it starts. Looking forward to the next update! Good decision on changing the colour asap. Definitely will be more difficult to repaint once everything else is in.
I painted my house in the same nippon gray catalogue. Not Mysterious but another shade in the same column. It also looked super bluish when I first saw the result. But after some time the color set and it just looks plain gray to me now haha. Hope you guys like the eventual shade you choose better though!
Lighting affects how the paint colour appears. One tip is also to view your catalogue by the window with natural sunlight instead just of under indoor white light. During the day, my wall paint appears more yellowish than I thought but it is still within my acceptable range.
It actually looks greenish to me though. I guess there is always a 色差 when viewed on screen due to monitor and on actual colour. Even if you viewed the actual colour sample, the result may oso not be wat you wanted cos its different when u see a small sample compared to a big pc of wall.

Dark colours are always a risk…maybe if it was just one feature wall it wouldn’t be as bad..was yr id helpful in giving advice about the paint colours?
Hmm, yes, we know it's a risk but we are aiming for a darker theme overall so.. 🤔 he recommended the Mysterious colour to us actually, as he had used this colour in a lot of his previous projects 🤔🤔 but I guess it wasn't our cup of tea in the end hahah
