not surprised at btob's ilhoon and minhyuk. loads of people are oblivious to the fact but all btob members can both sing AND rap. it was stated in their profile by cube from the beginning, and they even started out introducing themselves that way. they just cut it short afterwards, and split into vocal and rap teams. so this isn't just my opinion.
besides, minhyuk started out as a singer originally before switching to rapping cos he liked it.

But...Hoya got into Woollim as a singer...not a rapper. He transitioned into the rapper role after being mentored by Mithra and Tablo. That's why him and Dongwoo are technically Infinite's lead vocals (along with being rappers)- cuz they're singers as well.
Dongwoo is the only one out of the two who had to actually learn to sing after joining the group. They wanted to make sure that all of the members could sing (even a little bit) or at least enough to harmonize well.
Last year, Dongwoo played the main role for the Korean version of "In The Heights" musical. He couldn't have played the main character if he didn't get decent vocal training and wasn't a good singer.
So yes, Infinite H are indeed good singers. Don't believe me? Listen to almost any Infinite song and you'll see that they usually sing the most after the main vocals. Or better yet, listen to their covers or watch their acoustic versions of songs. ^.^
H line is seriously gems in Kpop. They are good at rapping, singing, dancing (funny and handsome too). Plus Hoya can act and write songs. 'Triple threat' is not even strong enough to describe their talent.

In general, I prefer rapper who can also sing (ofc not as great as the main vocal), I mean with education like what they have I believe they all could master at least the basics. :D Rappers like GD, Mino, Junhyung, CL, Jessi or Moonbyul just to name a few seriously slay, like Jay Park - they don't need someone featuring in their songs they can do the whole thing xD
