One of the first rock/metal based remixes I heard on OCR and my favourite to date. The production is spot on for this style and each section flows to the next effortlessly. Great guitar playing by Juan and great sequencing by Andrew. Oh and the solos are very tasty ;).
I have a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. An upcoming Long Fight is going to involve the PCs on a raft, going down a sewer tunnel, fighting off Shadar Kai masked ninjas (and ghosts). I intend to use this song as the BGM for this sequence. In fact, I designed the encounter explicitly to do so.
i first heard it in a machinima video back in the days and fell completely in love. havent heard it for at least 10 years.. gosh this must be the nostalgia everyones talking about :D
From 0:41 to 0:52 sounds like a part from "I'm the hell outta here" By Steve Vai ! Awesome remix, I always loved this game as a child, and i still do !
@ZeroZader No offense intended, but I do not understand why everyone is clicking thumbs up on this comment. Yes, it is one of the best remixes ever. But it's an insult to say it doesn't sound like Ninja Turtles. It is an amazing cover of an incredible original song -- which it sounds almost exactly like, but with different instruments. Search for "Turtles in Time Sewer Surfin" on here and give it a listen, and then go to your room and think about what you've done.
