An interesting video Peter, and you are right in what you say that the way to get youngsters interested in this great hobby is to give them the opportunity to get hands on. By the way, it's not a Big Boy (4-8-8-4), the loco is actually a Challenger (4-6-6-4) but it's still pretty impressive. Will we see a video of your legendary Bacon Butty bash this year?. It seems to have been a year or two since we saw one and they are always entertaining.
Henry is a good helper. Does each loco have its own remote? Or is the speed controller in the BCV? I have a lot of old G gauge stuff I’ve been running off track power. But I’m getting mighty tired of cleaning steam oil off the rails to get them to pick up power. I’m contemplating battery power. But there is still a huge investment in controllers if each engine is to have its own.
