Thx for an inspiring and informative video. I've been playing bass for 3 years now and I'm just trying to soak up all the information I can and really appreciate good information from good people like yourself.
There’s something special about the cirrus it has so much clarity and a crisp sound it’s always been a dream bass to own but I never see left handed ones so never had chance to grab one, also great vid ✌🏻
Thanks for the comment! You are correct about the tone. Clarity from top to bottom, side to side. I know there are lefties out. The problem is...anyone who has one won't part with it. Fun fact: I'm left handed. I started out playing right handed because there were no left handed uprights.
I tried a lot of brands. Gave the Super Steps a try 15 years ago and never looked back! I also love Labella tapes. Have them on my Mustang, Jazz fretless and P-Bass.
That bass sounds incredible.Your playing is awesome.

My pleasure! Thanks for the comment. Must success to you on your low-end musical journey. I'll tell this, it's a fun ride!

The Peavey Cirrus bass reminds me a little bit of a Kubicki factor kind of tone

Labella Super Steps. 128 to 29
@@6strbassplayer I surely need to try those to my Cirrus 5 and Cirrus 6 and TL5 as well! I already use Labella's in my '69 Mustang Bass.
