    Love that hat....made it over Christmas and gifted it to a preteen girl. She loved it!
    Pom Pom idea is great!

    Thanks a million! I separated the strands of the chunky yarn so that they would fit better through the needle and the button; otherwise, I followed the video instructions exactly. My hat looks awesome!

    What a clever, simple solution to the problem of laundering a hat with a faux fur pom-pom. Thanks for this tip!

    I love putting these faux fur pom poms on my hats, and it's so fun to see how other people add them! Thanks for sharing.

    Just curious if the beannie can be felt at the top of the head or do you need to also make sure your pattern is not tight fitting at the crown?

    How would you do this on a hat made with the Addi knitting machine? The knit is way too tight. Maybe leave a little bit of it open?

    I just recently finished a hat and attached the faux fur pom pom with the button. The button is starting to come out of the top of the hat through the hole. Does that mean the hole is too big?

    What if you give this to someone that doesn't have any crochet hooks or any type of sewing accessories? How would they attach the Pom Pom if a button was sew on?

    What if you make your own fur pompoms or they dont have the elastic on it?

    • @fiberflux
      @fiberflux  5 років тому +2

      That is a great question! Elastic cord is sold in the sewing area of the craft store. If you wanted to, you could sew a loop on with a needle and thread. Just be sure it is sewn on very securely! Hope that helps!

    I have one of those beanie things that has a hole on top for your ponytail to come out of, but don't always want to have a ponytail when I wear it. Does anybody know how I can cover it up with something but still be able to take it off the beanie afterwards (if that makes sense lol)
