Never never ever risk ur fish for anyone else's fish unless it's certain death for an animal and rare but u got me fu@ked if I would risk any of my present fish! People want them go get them urself unless I have the facility or ability to house something while not cross contaminating. Hopefully all goes well. Btw flag tail pairs are a bad combo. They will fight so either a few or one on its own. I have one now that's 10 yrs +.
It is what it is. I got caught in a bad situation trying to help. I bought a pool in case I run into any type of thing like this again I can set that up but even then with a large bio load it's not easy to setup a large stable environment quickly. In the past I've always turned stuff like this down anyway but again got too caught up trying to help people
