(0:26) _"And over the ages these greenhouse gases have reached the delicate balance that results in temperatures that we like a lot. It's been that way for thousands of years"_
    - What balance? We were in an interglacial period (within an ongoing ice age) that could have ended abruptly at any time, so another glacial period would have ensued.

    nothing about mitigation, drought, extinction

I realize that the emissions from rockets are minimal when compared to the rest of mankind, but I still can't take NASA serious with a video like this.

There is no other way to do it. Unless you want to spend a few billion building some more of giant rail cannon to launch stuff into orbit.

Most rocket fuels don't produce CO2 when burned

John Doe you will find that more than you think do. Whilst many do use hydrogen and oxygen mix liquid fuel, some, like the rocket that exploded the other week used kerosene, and the spaceship 2 by virgin was going to use nylon pellets.

mrtalos Yes, but that's a small slice of a very very small slice. Most modern rockets use LOX and LH2.

John Doe Oh I agree, and I find it infuriating too.
