If I were going to fool around with a Corvair my choice would be a '65 model or later. If a '63 is all you have than so be it. Ralph Nader was wrong as usual. The Corvair is no more dangerous than any other rear engine car like the Volkswagen.
64 and older are my favorites because those are the ones are fooled with in high school. I graduated in 72. You could buy them for $25-$300 all day long. Cool little fun cars! PS, don’t forget to send out those police so they don’t eat belts up like candy!
