Saratoga Springs - The August Place to Be! (I lived there for a long time.) Flat track horse racing brings many, many people to town! Lot of great places to eat! Beautiful old town!

Jen, your editing was wonderful on this episode! A lot people mentioned Tim’s face on the pizza but I loved going back and forth between what Tim was doing and what you and the boys were doing. It increased the perceived pace and was super entertaining.

Chip and Dale always make some of the best meet and greets!!! At the Redwood Challenge Trails in DCA my son got to participate in the “World’s Slowest Race” with them and it was so fun!

That tour vlog is how we found the Trackers, too! We were booked in the Contemporary for our young son's first Disney trip and wanted a preview.

The chandeliers at The Artist's Pallet are very pretty. I'd be entranced by them and not stop looking at them. Someone would have to drag me away from there.
Don't forget to sit at the marina dock and sit in their chairs and listen to the firework show! They play them through the speakers there!!! While Tim is at fireworks Jen and the boys can sit at the marina!
If Jackson really enjoyed the gem mining, you should get a bucket from Declan's Mining Co.

Great videos but just a question, why wouldn’t u hop on the boat and go to wilderness lodge or the monorail resorts for quick service? I know the boat doesn’t start till 3pm for lodge and contemporary but u could have taken to MK and did boat or monorail to resorts.

These vidoes are amazing.
So a little something I do with my microwave smores. I put peanut butter on each Graham cracker, put the chocolate on top. I also put a schmier of peanut butter on the chocolate. So when I put the marshmallow to sit on the chocolate bar, it doesn't roll as it expands in the microwave Chunky. Peanut butter's really good. I've also used nestle's crunch, bars and andy's mints totally different world of smores

I live 30 minutes from Saratoga Springs, NY and spend a good amount of time there. Funny enough, my family and I stayed at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort last year. It definitely captures the vibe of the racetrack, the Victorian mansions, and parks. Fun fact: you can taste the water from multiple different springs in the park in town!! Some are delicious and some are... eggy. 🥚

We have only watched the 3rd/4th fireworks from Baylake Towers or California Grill, in the past. I agree having distance helps you appreciate how expansive the display is.

I feel the old cabins are better and truly represent fort wilderness, sad Disney is making some unnecessary changes, same thing with country bear and splash mountain
The new cabin do look nice but they do not look like real cabins, they dont have a homely look to them, they should have kept the Log look
You can drink directly from the spring in Saratoga ny!

I’m a DVC member and I heard the DVC ownership for the cabins is different. We have a deed to our home resort. I heard Disney is not issuing deeds for the cabins.

Such a cute moment with Chip & Dale 🥰 and LOVE the Saratoga Springs resort. I live in Saratoga Springs NY and I must say I prefer the Disney version. It would be cool for you to experience it though, although in my opinion there isnt a while lot going on here except the races which I wouldnt pay that kind of money to fly to experience 😂

We were at MK on the 3rd. We had just finished our queue on Tiana’s and the fireworks had just started. We had a great view of fireworks overlooking Tiana’s ride as they were circling around from the drop. I loved getting to see your view from Main Street of the castle, as we couldn’t see that part.

Saratoga is beautiful but looks nothing like the resort. My favorite WDW fact is that the train station at Magic Kingdom is based on the old Saratoga Station

That Disney resort pizza is edible but not good. I think the purpose is just to have something quick and easy for families. We’ve had them a bunch of times 💜
we were there on the 2nd July and I got the loungefly for my daughter and my son bought the fab green jacket , unfortunately we fly back to the UK the next day

Come to the Jersey shore boardwalks, and combine with a visit to Philadelphia. You'd have so much fun! (I'm from South Jersey, we're nicely positioned between the shore and Philly)
Here’s an idea that one of my friend's shared when staying in hotels that only have a shower. It might help with the kids. She brings along an inflatable pool and blows it up and puts it on the floor of the shower for the kids to take a bath. Just an idea….

Are those DVC golf carts for cabin tours only or are they renting those out to people staying in DVC cabins?
They're just for the DVC cast member to take guest from the DVC kiosk to the show cabin unfortunately, I'd love to ride around the fort in one of those!!

Just an FYI...we stay at Shades of Green and have always been told that the Poly Beach issues wrist bands on big holidays such as 3rd/4th of July and NYE. That way they can make sure that their resort guests have that viewing area. Not sure if that is still the case, but it might be worth checking before you send everyone there. 😊

Well there's quite a few reasons why I won't be going to Disney anytime soon However, I am claustrophobic and there are way too many people for me to stand there and watch the fireworks and stuff from inside the park! (Also, those of us staying off property find it to be cheaper to get an Uber BEFORE everyone is trying to leave.)
All in all that was a pretty good video and now it's time to pay the price! 😎
