    I love your tutorials, I'm a beginner beader and you are the only person that I found who takes there time to explain things step by step slowly. I appreciate all that you do and I love all of your work.

      Hi, so sorry I missed your comment. I revisited this tutorial today and saw it. Thank you for nice comment, you are very kind. I try to put effort forward to make sure the video is actually follow-able.

    Ok girl, i subscribed before you even got into the actual tutorial because you answered every question that popped into my head about bead size etc in the first minute of the video. I could tell you were already going to be a great teacher. Thanks so much, i cannot wait to try out your bracelet!

    Hello Gina
    I have not started making these beads yet but I do enjoy very much watching your videos and love to listen to you too. You sound so nice, calm and speak very comfortably -- it sounds like you are here and teaching me.
    I will let you know when I’ve actually made one. Thank you again

    Hi Gina this is the best version of this design I have seen. You did such a wonderful job of teaching how to end and put a clasps on. I am not advanced yet so I like watching the more beginner tut to learn more . This adds a welcome addition to my bead making. You are a wonderful teacher. Looking forward to more basic video`s.

      Hi Peggy, I am glad the basic videos are making everyone happy. I wasn't going to do the basic stitch videos because there are so many. But it looks like there is always room for more!

    Thank you so much for this tutorial especially the clasp side of it , not many teachers on you tube tell how to go about ending it though I appreciate all the teachers for sharing their gift freely. Such a blessing. I would like to sell this bracelet when I finish it this weekend I hope you do not mind. Thank you so much. I have also made your happy bracelet and it is gorgeous. Never seen anything so beautiful and it is because you shared so freely. Thank you a thousand times

    Thank you Gina. I have only just started doing seed beading, and I was looking for something other than the flat spirals, double spirals, and twisted spirals. Great instructions, nice and clear, and un complicated. Thank you. xx

      You are welcome, this one is fun. It is easy too, as long as the instructions are clear you can do any stitch without much issue. Have a great time! I am sure you'll be hooked on beading in no time, if you aren't already.

    My lovely beading instructor,
    You explain everything so well and easy for me to follow. I saw the similar beading in magazine before, but in necklace version. I thought it was gorgeous and might be difficult to make. You are the best beading instructor I have never met. Please keep your creations ongoing :-)

      Thank you Kitty! I appreciate the compliment! I am glad you like it. I have hesitated to make tutorials that are already done by every beader on you tube, but I get requests, and I will try to make them a little different so they are not quite so redundant. Have fun with it!

      I do not know exactly how much. I start with a yard, then I extend as needed. So use a comfortable length, either tie on or extend your thread when you run out. Video number 4 on GGC’s Beginning Beaders Channel will show you how, if you do not know.

    I would just take it apart at where the bead broke, and start a new thread at that bead and go from there. Hopefully its towards the end so you dont have to undo too much of the bracelet

  • @susanmedina2821
    @susanmedina2821 9 років тому +1

    I am using Sufix 832 Ghost. The problem is the bead that I broke is at the beginning when I was pulling the knot to hide it. I accidently pulled it into the small bead without realizing that I had done so. Now I have finished the one end of the toggle clasp but broke the bead right at the start of my project. Will I have to take that all apart and start fresh?

    I was almost done with the netted rope bracelet. All I needed was to attach the last part of the toggle clasp when the small bead broke. How do you fix something like that without taking the whole thing apart?

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  9 років тому

      If you are using Fireline, you can take enough beads off to get past the break and expose a couple inches of thread. Then watch "joining Fireline for bead weaving" on you tube. Join your Fireline and finish your bracelet.

    Hi Gina,
    I have a question about the fireline. There are different ones with letters on them. Is there a particular one I need to get? Some say .0009 or the letter size. I never know which one to get.
    Thank you,
    Barbara

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  9 років тому

      Barbara Wells Hi Barbara, I think it is B. But if you buy your fireline from a fishing supply outlet like Cabellas or even Walmart in the fishing department, it will be categorized in pounds and will be cheaper, A LOT cheaper. Buying fireline from bead distributors is VERY expensive and more confusing.

    • @GinasGemCreations

      +Bryan Mayor actually that is a very common question. It's a hard one to answer. I take the cost of my materials and triple it. Or I take the cost and assign a value to the time I spent making it and get my price that way.

      Sure, it would work, just attach an ear wire instead of a toggle. You can do the same stitch with 4mm pearls and crystals to make the smaller.

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  7 років тому

      Yes, just use two colors of them so you can tell where you are crossing through. Also you may want to use 4mm main beads instead of 6mm, or you will need to add more seed beads to each stitch to make up for the size change.

    • @anniekelmon

    What kind of closer do you use for your bracelets?

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  9 років тому

      I used a toggle clasp here but I use. Many different kinds...I use lobster claw, slip lock clasps, magnetic, buttons...whatever works best for the bracelet I am making.

    How many meters of yarn do you use?

      I start with a yard and then add thread as I run out. I extend my fire line. I will post a link to a video that will show you how to do this.

    Gina I like your video of this netted rope, but as you do many of your steps you are out of camera lens and viewers can not see what you are doing. I have seen more of your knuckle than I would like. I like the idea of crystals and pearls. I have done mind with firepolish and pearls I will put crystals in and even do one with just crystals. but please make sure you are in camera lens when doing your tutorials. great instructions, but stay in frame. thank you

      This is an older video, the camerawork is an ongoing challenge, I try to stay in frame, but sometimes it isn’t perfect.
