Oumiha is very talented and skilled operator, but shades of him vs Andy Cruz Gomez here. He was very comprehensively outpunched and outboxed for the first 2 rounds-- the latter more competitive but he took more damage. Oumiha seems to get the benefit of the doubt in clutch moments, not sure why. I can see why he got round 2 though, I just disagree with 3-2 in his favor.

The boy from Cuba won this fight clearly. The french boxer has a long and succesful career in amateur boxing and he was the favorite for this fight but Alvarez was better than him. Later Ouhima won the gold medal in the final. But this one was a gift from the judges.
Exactly I completely agree our boy in red clearly had more of the fighting spirit - very surprised at the judge's decision and glad to see that this was noticed and registered in the public record!
