    Del, I'm currently piddling around with my first resonator build, and was planning to sandwich a piezo between the bridge and the resonator, thinking that would maximize the resonator twang when plugged in. Curious to hear your thoughts about placing the piezo disk out on the edge rather than under the bridge.

      i suppose a rod directly under (or in) the saddle would be the best… but how would you wire it through the metal…. ??? i drilled a hole in my hubcap howler and did exactly that

      ​@@PuckettCigarBoxGuitaryes, I assumed I'd build it up, get the intonation figured out, mark the bridge location, then go back and drill a hole for the piezo wires to pass through so I can keep the hole relatively small.
