We explored the Bridle Track this time last year, we were also fortunate enough to travel the full track before & after the landslide. Glad you found a camp spot in the end, top area for off-grid camping, especially to be able to cool off in the river. Happy travels. Cheers Marg
What a great track. That would have been awesome to have experienced it that way and seen the before and after. Yeah luckily there is plenty of great camping along the track to be able to just move on to the next and pull up. Safe and happy travel to you too. Cheers for the support.
@@chasingdreamsau no worries, we've been binge watching your channel this morning. Can I ask, do you guys have a loo on board? I've often wondered what rooftop campers do when there's no loo at a campground. Cheers Marg
Appreciate the support so much thank you. 👍 Yeah we have a toilet on with us and portable shower. To be honestly we try to find a public one most of the time. But to get into some camps you need to be self sufficient so we have it.
@@chasingdreamsau Good to hear and we also use loos when they are around but in saying that we do have an ensuite combo shower/toilet which has allowed us to get offgrid and remote. We love it!
Yeah perfect, we would love to have a combo toilet shower again just makes it that bit more comfortable when living on the road. Maybe one day again. 👍
Really beautiful isn’t it, we will have to head back one day and search for more spots around there as we were just amazed. Really appreciate you coming along and the support. 👍❤️
The wife and I have been trying to make the time to do the Sofala tack. We loved the bridal track with the camping on the creek and think the Safala track would be even nicer.
Certainly do your best to go and see it. It was a great track and not many people on it what so ever. We personally found it nicer and a fun little track. 👍 Best of luck.
Great advice about listening to people about how they may think the ease of a track is, when i started wheeling, i would have freaked out on the bridle track, but now after about 20 years experience, its about as hard as the m4😂
So glad we could bring back some wonderful memories for you. I bet you have seen some amazing things in those 8 years with the club. We will definitely have to go back and see what else we can find in that beautiful area. 👍
@chasingdreamsau have you ever considered contacting the local 4WD club for "where to go"? Ps when we moved to Nowra in 1988 we joined the Shoalhaven 4WD club. There are/were some great 4wding in Yalwal state forest.
Yeah we definitely have considered it, only issue we have is we hate planning so we honestly never know what we are really doing or where we are going. But we definitely should if we know exactly when and where we will be somewhere as local information is the best. Sounds beautiful. 👍
We have mates who live in Bathurst and they do these tracks all the time, we can’t wait to get down to do them. I think your second camp site was better but than the fish camp site. Did you think about burying them to remove the smell? Sucks that people left the site like that. Great episode. Matt and Leisa
They were great track, we had an amazing time! Yes we did plan on trying to bury them however we both have weak stomachs and Madi’s sense of smell was up and I was given the barking orders to move on! 😂 Thank you so much for the support. Cheers
Great vid 🙌, I am amazed at your quality of production 💙. I'd like to know and maybe worth an episode for those of us just starting out on youtube 🤔. Can you give me some advice on what editing program you use, also cameras, recording voices, what levels your volume is set at for voices and music 🥸. My videos are lacking on the noise quality side of production, also the cameras you are using are producing a good result. Anyway love following your crazy touring 💙.
Thank you so much you have honestly made our day! We really appreciate your support. That’s a great idea, maybe something for us to look into. Not a problem at all, we use Davinci Resolved to edit with, it is free and had no issues with it whatsoever. Madi was completely self taught from day one on how to use it and has pretty much relied on UA-cam tutorials to teach her. Our main camera would be the DJI Osmo Action 4 with a Rode Video Micro Microphone attached. We also use the Sony A7IV Camera for Photography and some Videography with a Sony Shotgun Microphone. When we upgraded to the Sony and better lenses you can really see the difference in camera quality. Drone work is on the DJI Mini 3 Pro. We also use our old GoPro 11 but don’t rely on it as we have had nothing but issues. Sometimes we also use the Rode Wireless Go2 Microphones. In regards to volume levels Madi just uses the Normalise Audio setting in Davinci Resolve on UA-cam volume setting and then plays around from there to make the music sound level and not too loud. We noticed it made the watching experience much better once we added Microphones as noises like wind etc weren’t such a distraction and much easier to fix in Davinci Resolve. Thank you so much, we think that the DJI Action does a great job and would certainly do but we can definitely tell the difference between the Action camera and our Sony. In all honestly your phone or whatever you already have would do a great job in capturing those moments. We have just been trying to level up our equipment as we really want to focus on making this our full time. Your support truly means the world, thank you so much for coming on the adventure. Please do hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions. ☺️
Appreciate the support so much. We had a great time along the track and all the views. Absolutely, if you are interested give us a message. 👍 We unfortunately got stuffed around a bit by the company Hema once they sold so we have switched over to MEMORY MAPS, I will have to talk about it on the channel soon as we have been using it for just over 2 months and loving it. We purchased the maps for $100 one off fee and have brought tablet with cellular and wifi capabilities to run it and it’s working great to be honest. 👍
Yep absolutely but I wouldn’t have thought the idea would be to just throw it right next to the bank and let it rot in the heat. Especially in a designated camping ground.
I’ve noticed it’s more the rich/city people that disrespect our tracks and camps… they just have that entitlement like they think a grounds keeper will be along to clean up after them 😅
I'm certainly not sure who it is but 100%, the entitlement seems to be such a big thing! Hopefully as a community we can start doing better and keeping these tracks open for everybody to enjoy. Thank you for watching and the support 👍
why do they waste them a lot of good fish left therein europ they are their freah water sports fish and i have eaten a number of them and they are quite edible
I really don’t know, I personally haven’t tired it but I watch a thing on ABC about having people blind taste it and everyone loved it. So I guess we are too stubborn to give it a go maybe. 😂
We did do a Google before and it said 52kms but turns out that includes the rest of the way to Bathurst potentially. It ended up only being around 30km from sign to sign.
Hi guys another great video, so refreshing that someone is finally taking the time to showcase NSW for once 🎉
NSW has blown us away, we will definitely have to come back and explore it so much more. It certainly had more to offer than we expected. 👍
OMG. That’s beautiful!!
It sure was such an incredible drive and the scenery was spectacular 👍
Great episode on the Macquarie river and Turon River area. Has been the bucket list for a while now.
We had a blast, honestly was so much fun exploring it all. Can’t wait to head back and see what else we can find. 👍
Thanks for taking us along with you 👍. Spend that 10c wisely 😆.
Appreciate the support and thank you for coming along with us mate. 👍
It’s going straight towards the next adventure all 0.00001 kilometres of it 😂😂
Stunning sunset, mountains spectacular, thankyou😊

Hey mate, Maddie & Luna another great episode. Keep them coming..
Thank you so much mate, really appreciate the support. 👍
Loved the Russel Coight moment
@@OverlandAustraliaAdventures cheers mate got to have a bit of fun. 👍
We were there around New Years and absolutely disgusted with how fellow campers are leaving these places. They're a disgrace
They sure are and it’s certainly not helping the discussion in trying to keep places like this open with so many shutting down.
The second track, you started at Wallaby rocks, and ended at Cole’s bridge, not sure if the track has an official name
Thank you for sharing 👍
You guys are awesome:) I had earmarked the bridle track, hopefully we find the mystery track too. Sooo beautiful. Do you use the hema 4WD app?

Hey mate, we sure did have a blast exploring around. We stayed at a camp called Wallaby Rocks. 👍

It is not explicitly illegal to return carp, but NSW DPI strongly recommends that you don't

@ if you take it in, you take it out! Seems hard for some people to understand 🤷♂️ haha but yer hopefully one day!
Yep spot on. I'm with you, I don't know how it is so hard. If it could fit whilst you took it in how is it so hard to fit taking it out?
Some people are just shit & leave crap behind for someone else to sort out
Yep it’s pretty disappointing that not everyone can treat the campground and others with respect.

Track wasn’t on the map, it has no name and locals told us about it.
