Hi, I have a question I can't find an answer to. I've ordered a T7 with 5 seats, not 7, and it will be registered for max 5 occupants of course. Will I be able to move seats to the backmost row? I want to be able to do this for flexibility. Are there seat belts and seat railing where the 3rd row would normally be. No one seems to be able to answer this simple question, including the dealer I'm using here in Switzerland. Thanks.

Fantastic rear seats interior design and flexibility. Brilliant.
One big problem I see with the PHEV version is the size of the fuel tank, only 45L. This is a major disappointment for long distance driving. My Passat PHEV has a full-size tank and can can cruise until the dog needs to eat (... and poop).
If anyone can advise on my dilemma:
we are taking a trip through Germany next year, and need space for 3 adults, 1 toddler with car seat, 4 bags, a wheelchair and a pram, then hand luggage etc. Is a VW multivan, a Opel vivaro 9 seater, or a Peugeot rifter 7 seater the best vehicle in terms of space?

I also reviewed the Volkswagen T7 Multivan, I must say it had the great quality, but it wasn't great value for money.
So which one is? New Ford Tourneo Custom?
When the 13kWh battery is fully charged and the engine is not started, how long can the air conditioner blow before the system starts charging the vehicle?THX.
Let me write what I expect. I think you can give clues to possible buyers (customers) about the driving or using conditions like an advice list of “to do and not to do with that car”. Such recommendations will be welcome.

2:15 you seem to be very contained in your statement regarding the suspension. Most of what I read from owners and users is that this van has « atrocious » suspensions leading to continuous unpleasant rumble and vibrations inside.

Seems like we’re going back to MPVs which can only be a good thing and hopefully convince some SUV drivers to change as they serve no more purpose apart from being rubbish at everything

What difference does it make it someone drives an SUV vs this? Most are just as economical and actually have more boot space, better quality interiors, lower prices. Don’t get the hate for SUVs.

I would be in the market for one of these, but it's a massive miss on two counts. Firstly, it doesn't have 8 seats. Why VW did the caravelle with 7 and this beast with 7 as well is beyond me, when the V Class and the Tourneo have 8 seats. Secondly, it is woefully underpowered. Why the pathetic 150ps diesel when again the V and Tourneo come with much more powerful engines? Silly old VW!
So a bit like a new version of a Sharon
It’s nice but my main issue is the name. A multivan has always been the day van version of the transporter with a rock and roll bed.
Actually Multivan has always been the upmarket passenger version
@@oliverstemp9132 you realise Google is a thing? I’ve got a T4 multivan outside. Rock and roll bed, two backwards facing jump seats and a table that folds out the side. The T25/T3 was the same.
@@SquareoftheyearFM it still has most if those things, the bed went because it had very low usage and the 5 individual seats are more comfortable and practical, I’m happy with that.
@@oliverstemp9132 but now it’s just a large Sharan or a small caravelle. There’s nothing multi about the van. It’s a people carrier at best, it can’t be used for multiple uses.

@@beemerdek well i have outlasted the T5 and most T6 so doing pretty well with 754.000km on same engine, that new passat bus hybrid will not last for that long

The LWB version is the same size inside as the Caravelle. So LWB is the one to have.

The prices of "Volks"wagen have reached a just ridiculous level...the Multivan is nothing more than a prestige-object for rich urban hipsters. Very, very poor when you look at its history...

Universal for cars right now. Lovely. Impressive. High tech. And bloody, bloody expensive.
The attitude seems to be "don't worry about the price - f***ING finance it!!"
Way too expensive for a van. Plus why would you buy a product from the "Diesel gate" company. The way they have and are treating customers is shocking. This is still not resolved in some countries.

@@blarkdexture8899 No such thing. Many new diesel engines (including VW) require Ad Blue to run cleaner and VW along with BMW and Daimler Benz (Mercedes) were involved in a recent scandal regarding this too. I would not give this company 48p never mind £48k.

Edd not liking the hippy look. Get a hair cut and it will knock years off you.
This is the worst piece of trash i have ever used. I used it as company car as a wind turbine technician and the gearbox broke down after only 6000km. It cannot handle northern europe at all. If it's too cold it refuses to start. Sometimes it just doesn't start at normal temps and displays all kinds of faults. It has really bad range. Annoying safety systems that literally impede your driving.
Now sure it works probably alright as a family van but definitely not as a company car in northern europe
