Cop Shakur, whose real name is Jackson Kuria Kihara, is a former prison warden at Kamiti Maximum Prison in Kenya. He became a prominent figure during the anti-government protests in June 2024, participating actively despite his position. His defiance led to his dismissal, but he has remained vocal about his actions, claiming injustice and harassment from authorities. Shakur's case has sparked public debate about government accountability and freedom of expression in Kenya.
