    they don't like humidity, they want it dry; did you mean temperature?

    Hi there. Can you tell me when my baby velvet spiders legs will turn black. I think she's 5 months old. Ive been told its a girl as if it was a boy it would have little boxing gloves on its pedipalps. Can you tell me if that's true x

      Hi 👋 what velvet spider do you have? and yes if you look at my youtube short i have an Enchinata that’s a male an you can see how thickened his pedipalps are as to if it was a female they are really skinny.

      @vomitedblood Thanks for messaging me back. Shes a Velvet Gandanameno. Would be nice to have a girl but I wasn't sure as she's so little and there's nothing anywhere where you can read up on sling velvet gandanamenos anywhere. Not sure how big she's ment to be or anything. I was a little worried she had lost weight and wouldn't eat and she's a good eater but the next day she had a moult so that explained why she didn't eat.

      @@imagegacha8681 yes so my boys legs are brown i don’t think they turn black after they mature your spood is probably to small right now i’d give it some time and then you can definitely tell if it’s a male an the females are the black color and are bigger than males id drop a picture but im not able too :(
