When this album first came out it’s all I listened to for about a whole year I lived & breathed this album, I even considered naming my first child Magellan but she was a girl, never the less I still am over the top with this album & the lyric’s in the sleeve is mind blowing- ( not enough music to accompany it )
Aside from lyrics, i feel that the second half of this album is so very strong in the music department. While the whole album is great, the second hald (starting with Underture) is banger after banger in tone
@AaronTheMage I agree in that case. Just never heard that before. Given the caliber of musicians involved and considering the amount of time they have spent together, the new album is going to be Super too. Imo

Paul had a brilliant mind and you could tell he cared very deeply about everyone and everything. What a talented group of musicians these guys are.

Dead Winter Dead and The Wake of Magellan were both s tier albums imo. ESPECIALLY Dead Winter Dead
