Disappointed with palmer. Liverpool it’s understandable they took out the game but United were there for the talking was a real bad performance. World class keeper is needed next season. Games like this you can also tell we need a top class striker
Agree with you George, it didn’t feel like there was enough desperation in that second half and I think Nkunku should’ve come on for Nico later in the game too. But we move 💙. (George, your forgot to say COME ON YOU BLUES)
couldnt agree more with this video George. We gave them way too much respect and were stuttering going forward. Our press upfront today lacked intensity... Jackson in the last 2 games has been a little bit concerning. We shouldnt forget that this is still early days for our team and still need time to improve. Definitely made them look better then they were. Caicedo is unbelievable. Also thought James had a decent game. Still so much to come from our team, we need to stay positive but also keep the players honest!
If Gusto could pass, cross and shoot, he would be a really top player. I think one of the reasons he got so much space in the first half was because the United players realised that he would never cause them any problems. There is also the fact that having the worst keeper in the PL costings us more points. He had no reason to dive at Hojlund's feet.
@thepctoolbox if my grandma had a dong and a goatee, she would be my grandpa. But she doesn't so she ain't. Gusto can't do those things so his performance has been subpar
George, I went into this game thinking it was written in the stars for United to beat us due to the Ruud factor bouncing off a game scoring 5 goals. I think Chelsea felt the same way and we could think of it differently that we dodged a bullet today. We fought enough for it to not be predestined. Frustrating, but another take on it.
Maresca got it wrong. He thought it was going to like the Liverpool away game if we went for it. Not true this club is nowhere near Liverpool standard. I even saw Maresca asking the players to play the ball backwards giving them too much respect was the problem.
Did you not see the match? Palmer drop deep on his own because United locked our midfield with 4 players, so Palmer drop deep to help build up from the midfield, if Palmer didn't drop deep, then we're gonna play long pass all the time There are some time in the match that Palmer tried to make a run and not drop deep, what happened? Midfield can't pass to him anyway because the ball would be easily intercepted by Utd midfielder
Idk if it's just me but fofana's positioning seems to be wrong quite a bit. Even when we are passing across the back he doesnt go into the space and instead stands basically right next to colwill so we end up going back to sanchez.
james is back and Enzo Maresca must try all the games to find a best system for all. That’s fine. No injury is the best news for fan. Watching Chelsea is entertained and just trust in the process. One day we will be the top team.
Happy with a point and 4th in the table! Let’s be honest and remember we’re we are at this point last season. Stay positive, we are doing just fine and I honestly feel we can take Arsenal at the Bridge next game! 💙
We bottled it. Not enough service to Neto, Madeuke and Jackson. We played narrow. Was expecting Lavia to stay on, Felix, Nkunku, Mudryk, Cucurella and later Fernandez in the second half. Way to conservative. Even when Neto and Madueke got forward, insufficient support in the box. Corners, we are struggling to find our big blue players. More senseless yellow cards. More composure on the counterattacks.
Love Palmer but he disappears in big games, this is not the first time this season, City, Liverpool and United , hopefully next week against Arsenal he’ll show something. Caicedo, Lavia , Neto and James were great today. One mistake Cucu should’ve started today from the beginning. gusto , is going backward.
Was reading through the comments and I’m surprise Neto name didn’t come up like it shud…. He was the next best thing and playing wit all his heart, speed, control winning fouls
Maresca gave the game away…. We have a replacement in the bench and we should use it…. Palmer is loved by all and yes he's good but I think sometimes they should change him for Felix or Nkunku if you're leaving NJ…. Fair game tough
I agree GB we should of taken the 3 points today. The reaction from them scoring was a positive one though, getting the equaliser within 4 minutes was very good but we should have then gone for the jugular. Cucurella needs to start and Reece James needs to start in his position of right back. Arsenal on Sunday will be an interesting one.
Finally in Caicedo we got replacement for Kante. Lavia was very good too. Draw against United where we lost last season 1-4 is an improvement. United is a very good team, they beat Leicecter in cup game when we lost to Newcastle. No Clean sheet again
Maresca messed up with his sub! 😢 Nkunku could have scored the chance Enzo missed! Maresca's decesion at the beginning of the season cost us this game. Today he made silly sub. For Maresca to stick with Sanchez, a Brighton reject is unacceptable.
I said it b4 and am saying it again. Moises Caciedo is now showing us why we bought him for such a huge sum of money. Caciedo is pure quality. His is a class act just like Palmer over several matches now. Caciedo performance is not a one off thing. He has consistently put in a six star performance. Very strong and never tiring.
Still happy to br top 4. But fofana in my eyes shouldn't have gotten a green, colwill and fofana together are far to irrational, need a top experienced cb beside colwill, and sanchez has to go, we will never win anything with sanchez in goal, would've given a green too neto thought he played very well
The problem with this match was that Noni and Neto were not electric enough at the first half. They were really not at thier very best. Secondly, the crowd was up for it, pushing their players plus the Nestaro effect. Am happy we came away with a point.
Game by game I am coming to understand that Maresca doesn’t like take a risk even in situations like today because it was a small risk after 25-30 minutes since starting the game MU had a toothless attacking line and no creativity the same we are. Yes we lost another 2 points it’s sad and frustrating. What is obvious now after 10 games no one is secure in terms of defeat all top teams have lost their game except Liverpool
Moi is our hidden gem and there is more to go with him for sure. That said, we are doing the best against weaker teams than us. When we come up against teams that don’t allow us to play freely we stop trying.
I like the energy of Lavia but he over does his turning and end up losing the ball. More also he just keeps slowing things instead of attacking. He passes the ball back very often as well
I think we were afraid to really go at United and try beat them because we ( like you said didn’t want to lose the game, we’ve had a terrible record at Old Trafford for years ) and I think that bad record affected the players
It’s clear Maresca does not have faith in this team to be able to deal with the counter. We have improved , but the improvements have been massively exaggerated by one player: Palmer. If Palmer does not turn it on, we are bang average. It really is simple as that. The other clear thing is our physicality , or lack of it . Watching our embarrassing and pointless ‘ bus queue ‘ plan at corners which came to nothing as our players are too short or too weak in their upper bodies when the ball comes in , was painful. Remember Ballack, Essien, Lampard, Terry, aHasselbaink, Gudjohnssen, Cahill, Drogba, Costa, Ivanovic, Gallas, Makele, Kovasic , Kante…..all were physically intimidating and hard to push out the way. Now we only have James ( when not injured ) who can hold a candle to those guys in terms of strength . Even our CB are lightweight . It is a major failing of our recruitment not to have a mix of strength and guile.
We learnt that cole Palmer is better in the right pocket than the left where Enzo is currently using him, we learnt that gusto is not up for the role Enzo has given him as that extra man in the attack ( probably not using Reece that way cause he's not fit enough for it ) we learnt that noni needs to do more to take on players or cut into the middle
Man United were different in this game compared to others this season. They worked their asses off and made it a scrappy contest. That was the difference. Had Sanchez not made another judgement error, we win. Fernandez also practically had an open goal and missed the lot.
George!!! To have your tail between your legs means that you accept you're defeated! It comes from the dog's behaviour, you know?!? That's at least the second time I hear you use that idiom incorrectly and english isn't my first language (infact my english isn't good at all). With having that said, I love your 6 things we learned videos, keep going! God bless you!
That was our game certainly but followed the foot steps of Man U What was needed was to increase speed and pressurise them yet we also slowed our pace just as Man U was doing
I think you missed one. Today we also learnt that Neto is best on the right wing ( got corner for goal after a run ) and we learnt that need his as a regular right wing
We should have could've won but hey we are 4th place it's done lets get on to the next game arsenal and hope we win that 1 and stay afloat..... Still needs work some of the boys need to ne more ruthless and composed thats all we need stop being nervy and make silly mistakes
Palmer tremble contre les grands équipes même contre Liverpool était comme ça, nkunku doit rentrer sur sa place dès le mi temps si ça passé comme ça , vu sa occasion madueke à gauche et Jackson à droite, il gaspille le ballon.
Sanchez needs more coaching on how not to panic. None of our playmakers controlled the pace of the game. We just played at Manutd's pace.
Gusto is awful in the final 3rd. James is worldclass in the final 3rd.
@thepctoolbox if my grandma had a dong and a goatee, she would be my grandpa. But she doesn't so she ain't.
Gusto can't do those things so his performance has been subpar
@@heimstaden4588 unfortunately James doesnt have the agility and the legs currently
@@attaahselase1003it’s the coach’s system that doesn’t allow him forward
Pedro over madueke I think sancho needs a chance since we needed a spark from up top and having them too could’ve potentially made a difference
Bro, I never did give United a chance. I didn't even see them getting a point.
@nwachukwuconfidence4130 Teams tend to elevate themselves for past-player caretaker managers. The timing of ten Hag leaving wasn't great for us.
Gusto inverted doesn’t works man 😭
it works, negatively
Corner kicks as well
Time to bring on the CFL Midfield. Caicedo-Enzo-Lavia SHOULD be starting as a unit.
Much more balance and creative
When Caucedo and Lavia plays we do not create much chances.
@@hamidr83_ Exactly. They all bring different qualities that benefit one another's inadequacies.
@@based.mr.brightside and drop Noni
Lavia and Caicedo partnership is good but we don't get the best out of palmer with the two
Finally!!! I’ve noticed that too! But Enzo is trash and must go!
Does Chelsea want Palmer and goals or Enzo and a few missed passes?
I still feel.palmers best position is rw with overlapping fullback
Well, good positive is that if Palmer doesn't turn up then we have other people who can turn up like caicedo did today
Maresca got it wrong. He thought it was going to like the Liverpool away game if we went for it. Not true this club is nowhere near Liverpool standard. I even saw Maresca asking the players to play the ball backwards giving them too much respect was the problem.
i think maresca should have subbed nkunku for the last 20 minutes....
the one thing i dont like from maresca is how deep palmer is hes basically a 6 that drifts forwards he needs to be more involved in the attack
Did you not see the match? Palmer drop deep on his own because United locked our midfield with 4 players, so Palmer drop deep to help build up from the midfield, if Palmer didn't drop deep, then we're gonna play long pass all the time
There are some time in the match that Palmer tried to make a run and not drop deep, what happened?
How did he dissapear I mean he was involved in the caceido goal
How did he dissapear I mean he was involved in the caceido goal
Was reading through the comments and I’m surprise Neto name didn’t come up like it shud…. He was the next best thing and playing wit all his heart, speed, control winning fouls
Caicedo is class
Great stuff mate. We bring no extra sauce to these big games. Just show up and whatever happens happens. Thought we turned a new leaf with Maresca.
John Terry, once said that we need experienced and skilled defenders of the Chelsea level of play
Sanchez made a lot of good saves though
Maresca needs to find a place for Nkunku in the 11 even if it means playing palmer back on the right with a free role. Both NEED to start.
Finally in Caicedo we got replacement for Kante. Lavia was very good too. Draw against United where we lost last season 1-4 is an improvement. United is a very good team, they beat Leicecter in cup game when we lost to Newcastle. No Clean sheet again
I agree re Caicedo and the yellows for Palmer and the Gaffer. I’ll take a well-fashioned field goal against a PK anytime.
I would have given Wesley a yellow palmer a green and neto a green!
Maresca messed up with his sub! 😢 Nkunku could have scored the chance Enzo missed! Maresca's decesion at the beginning of the season cost us this game. Today he made silly sub.
For Maresca to stick with Sanchez, a Brighton reject is unacceptable.
Should have and could have? The CFC team motto!!!!
Petrovic n chalobah should return in jan
Chelsea not creating many chances without Farnandez is not talked about enough
I said it b4 and am saying it again. Moises Caciedo is now showing us why we bought him for such a huge sum of money. Caciedo is pure quality. His is a class act just like Palmer over several matches now. Caciedo performance is not a one off thing. He has consistently put in a six star performance. Very strong and never tiring.
We were to slow. What a chance for enzo.but we need to be quick in the way we pass the ball
Still happy to br top 4. But fofana in my eyes shouldn't have gotten a green, colwill and fofana together are far to irrational, need a top experienced cb beside colwill, and sanchez has to go, we will never win anything with sanchez in goal, would've given a green too neto thought he played very well
Maresca is trying to follow pep’s way. He’s lucky we didn’t lose like them
The problem with this match was that Noni and Neto were not electric enough at the first half.
What a display from Caiceido , this is what we expected when we bought him
Chelsea did a fantastic job today. Ben you're too sentimental.
if sentimental = inebriated ...agreed
bros drunk and we love it :D
Genuinely 😂
MOISES CAICEDO 🎉
We learnt that cole Palmer is better in the right pocket than the left where Enzo is currently using him, we learnt that gusto is not up for the role Enzo has given him as that extra man in the attack ( probably not using Reece that way cause he's not fit enough for it ) we learnt that noni needs to do more to take on players or cut into the middle
Thanks for sharing always
I thought Nkunku should have come in for Jackson. I must praise Enzo Fernandez today. His passes from the midfield when he came on way cool.
There was nothing to watch except the goal 🎉😮😢
Man United were different in this game compared to others this season. They worked their asses off and made it a scrappy contest. That was the difference. Had Sanchez not made another judgement error, we win. Fernandez also practically had an open goal and missed the lot.
George!!! To have your tail between your legs means that you accept you're defeated! It comes from the dog's behaviour, you know?!? That's at least the second time I hear you use that idiom incorrectly and english isn't my first language (infact my english isn't good at all).
With having that said, I love your 6 things we learned videos, keep going!
God bless you!
Needed the big players to turn up today and Palmer and Jackson weren’t good enough simply. Reece James also does not look sharp enough for 90 minutes
That was our game certainly but followed the foot steps of Man U
What was needed was to increase speed and pressurise them yet we also slowed our pace just as Man U was doing
I think you missed one. Today we also learnt that Neto is best on the right wing ( got corner for goal after a run ) and we learnt that need his as a regular right wing
Man U played solid and did not concede many chances. Their defence was unusually solid
Caicedo 🔥🔥🔥
I think we need to drop Sanchez, I believe he will cost us points this season as past few games shows. Give jorgensen a go 💙💙
Caicedo masterclass + 11 bottle jobs (Maresca in that 11)
We should have could've won but hey we are 4th place it's done lets get on to the next game arsenal and hope we win that 1 and stay afloat..... Still needs work some of the boys need to ne more ruthless and composed thats all we need stop being nervy and make silly mistakes
