Hi mate, i just bought a '22 plate trident a couple of weeks ago, i love the sound of the zard exhausts but how does it work for MOTs? Do you swap out to factort exhause for the MOT or do most places turn a blind eye for bike exhausts? New to the bike scene and would love this exhaust but just not sure how it all works, cheers bro
Hi mate, so I have the baffle out of my exhaust and I didn’t buy the euro 5 one. If you buy a euro 5 exhaust (which zard do) you would be fine for an MOT. If you have the exhaust I have, the short answer is it depends. If I had the baffle in I should be fine for an MOT. Also if you know the mechanic or it’s a local mechanic who you’ve asked previously if it would pass an MOT then you could be fine there. If you took it back to a dealership they might not pass in on an MOT so If not it might just be a case of putting the stock exhaust back on.
Hi mate, sorry for the late reply. I ended up buying the race line full black non euro spec and fitted it myself which was easier than I thought. Spoke to a local garage and they said it wouldn't be an issue as they don't test for emissions 🤙🏼 Thanks for the advice though! Been riding with it for the past month and a bit and took the baffle out earlier, gonna give it a blast tomorrow then get a quickshifter ordered. Keep up the sick videos and ride safe bro🤙🏼
I understand the appeal, and probably a stabilizer would be nice. But to me, personally, I do think the shot in the video is nice, because you get most of the riding, in the sense that you get the velocity feeling and the suspension work.
Hi mate, I see what you mean. I’ve taken off the stabilisation on the GoPro because I’m more of the opinion that if you can edit something in post do it there. But I didn’t put any on this video to see if anyone had any opinions on it. So if this is maybe too much shake I now know to stabilise the footage in premier pro more. But I do like a little bit of shake so it does feel a bit more realistic. Appreciate your comment mate 👍
Hi mate, it’s a zard full system with the baffle out. Honestly the decel pops are just random I haven’t tuned the bike and the exhaust doesn’t require a tune for the bike it just seems to do that.

What exhaust is this & how did you get it to pop on decel like that?
