A very good review of the Leshiy 2 9mm. I have the Leshiy 2 with the FX/Huma barrel port adaptors that allows me to use FX barrels and liner kits in .22, .25 and .30 calibers. In only a few minutes you can easily change calibers. The Leshiy 2 is such a rugged and quality rifle and well as having a great hammerless design. I would consider the 9mm pretty much a medium to larger game caliber for critters like groundhogs and coyotes. So shot count would not need to be high so what was your shot count as the rifle was set-up.
I disagree. It is made beautifully. The tech developed, engineering time, manufacturing in low numbers is worth a great deal. This gun is in the Top percentile in quality and reliability. It has spawned many copies. If you comment on price I can appreciate the comment for sure. It’s an almost unaffordable hobby. Like Hockey and Saltwater Aquariums.. don’t forget boats! I wish I had this, I’ve shot it and loved it. I was hoping to have one this year, medical issues has put it on hold but I live through these videos!
My father was a master gunsmith. So I grew up, started shooting at a very young age. I always had the tightest groups, the best shooting guns, and everything that I’ve taught people on my channel about barrels. They’ve used an award for them. And I gave that away free I bought eight of those junk guns with their junk liners and there are three piece valves which break and leak constantly. When I had those guns, I could not believe how terrible they shot. You look at my first video the truth about airgun slugs you’ll see I was really excited about shooting those guns right about the guns I bought barrels I put a barrel in the Krell puncher breaker, bonded the barrel to an external liner, and he just very well done, and that things shot like junk. Then I got my other guns from them which I tried to hold back on. I bought it one time Rick I start shooting these guns and they all were the same palace. They were great slugs holy crap all over the place. So what did I decide to do? I decided to make a video about their liners at the time of Utah, so I can get it out there while Matt Dahmer was out there and use his own inflated ego on him. If I didn’t do that I probably would only got I don’t know three 400 views but because I did that and he with that big eagle had to make a video about me I got 36,000 views and everybody saw what those liners are. And at the end of my video when I was telling people all the issues with those liners. Do you know what I Cedric? I said don’t take my word for it check your liners. If you got the gun, you got the liner right there take that slugger that pull it and drop it through the barrel push it through and you’re gonna see what it does. You push a pallet a slug down the barrel it’ll it’ll be tight at first maybe loosen I’m gonna hit another tight spot in fall through 8 inches till it gets tight again. That’s because you can’t press rifling in externally when the tubes are not true. That’s why their slut barrels have to have a choke wreck because they are junk and the choke might make them more accurate than if it didn’t have a choke, but a choke makes a slug in accurate, and that’s a fact.
I have a Leshiy 2 in .22 cal 350mm barrel. I tuned it to shoot 24.8 NSA slugs. One thing to keep in mind when it comes to Leshiy 2’s Alpha Precision barrel is that the bore diameter is slightly bigger than some of the other popular barrels in the same caliber. For example, I use .219 for my Leshiy. If you use Patriot .217 or .218 the accuracy won’t be good. I absolutely love that gun. I can hit a golf ball at 100 yd with that gun no problem! Great little walk and stalk hunting setup for quails and rabbits, even turkeys too here in CA.
I own 6 L2’s and over 20 of the top of the line air guns. They all can have there issues with leaking and creeping regulators, it happens to the best of them. The L2’s are great guns. Easy to work on. Learn how to work on them and you could fix them yourself. Brian has good videos on how to fix some of the problems you can run into.
This manufacturer has true legendary status, albeit it's founder personal politics controversies. It's way above what you get from other players in terms of engineering and quality. Everywhere else it's just a 10cc above last iterations for the same overpriced cnc machined piece of aluminum.
There is a jet inside the forward plug. it's 0.7 default factory. You can change the size of that jet to many different size and it gives different result. The smaller it's, it push more air out (air cost). That's why some case with 30 cal this gun can go over to 1000+ FPS. I haven't test on 9mm caliber yet. It's a very good rifle but yet not being mention in many "top airgun".
$3200 plus tax. Yeah I'll pass. I didn't pay that much for my custom Horizon Vandal in 22 Creedmoor I also own a bunch of PCP guns too but 3K is just a stupid price for any air gun. I thought that my Airforce guns were too expensive but WOW. lol

@@hypno17 I have both the T9 and L2, it's like a Prius and European build Mercedes. In the end, both will get you where you want to be, but the Prius does it with more hickups. The T9 .357 is okay but it's semi auto technology is still fully dependent on the flimsy magazines (achilles heel for AEA/BinTac) granted, they are alloy for the T9 but the plastic transp. cover is still a weak link. The L2 pushes your pellets through the magazine. No probe, no hammer just pfffffft air.
After the hype AEA brought to the industry it's been nothing but bordom ever since. I'm wondering if and when I'm going to be intreagued buy a rifle again.

And here’s another thing about working pressures 1700 psi 2000 psi is not enough to get real accuracy out of slugs. My K-1 has been set up for a year and a half now shooting 1150 FPS and it’s 22 caliber using 40 grain slugs. I should under a half inch rack is that just a lock rack? Of course I laughed and polish the barrel, like I always do but how many half inch when the gun started out it was under an inch it was 7/8 of an inch, which is still great. This is the fabric you said what that I don’t know what I’m talking about. What is the twist rate on the MC aR 457. I mean you’re already putting it down what’s the twist right on that baby huh? How is it able to shoot such tight groups at 1000 yards. I owned a Leshy 2 in 25 with their expensive moderator. After a few months it was all over the place on an accuracy basis. The tank would not hold air for very long. Took it to Brian, Edgun West, and they charged me to fix it! I had their mod kit, everything. These guns are good short term, but long term they are crap. You'll never know that from these type of quick evaluations. Also, most of these people are not buying these, and in many cases are working WITH Edgun West. I got rid of the gun. Keep your money, and buy an FX or a Daystate or something else. I owned 2 Edguns, and just about every other high end gun. EDGUN was the worst, and Edgun West has the worst customer service.

Over the years air gun nation has been paid to take down. Any negativity about FX products people feel that there is nowhere for them to go to get the issues taken care of with the product they bought that is not what they saw it doing on FX videos, I think that this would be a great time to have a class action lawsuit. Because FX has not delivered. Their barrels are the worst going wreck and you know it. I have fixed those barrels. I will not do another barrel I had guys asking me to do the barrels. I’m gonna have to charge them 600 bucks to fix an FX liner. I told him just go get another barrel and I’ll machine that’s what we did. We put CZ barrels on their guns and they became half inch to three-quarter inch groups at 100 yards every time no flyers.

No that gun you’re reviewing right now Leah’s 2 that’s a good gun. It’s accurate with pellets, and not too bad with slugs either. But a really good power out of it it’s weakness is it valve system and the plastic parts. You will never get real power out of it. You’ll get average power. When will you be shooting the bin tech MCAR 1000 yard air rifle. That gun fills to 7000 psi 4500 regulated will shoot a 310 grain 457 slug at 1185 FPS 5 inch group at 800 yards. I very much doubt you’ll ever review that since her in the pocket of f(x).

A gun that advanced you will keep hidden from your channel. Do you want to shoot that old design junk of a fx . The barrels will not allow you to shoot over 950 FPS accurately because they have a choke in the poorly made. DMCAR has a heavy bull barrel.

I watch a video Matt Dobre with his panthera one year review. Watch the video look at the group. Years ago he showed it to be a quarter inch. It really pissed me off rick. There is a jet inside the forward plug. it's 0.7 default factory. You can change the size of that jet to many different size and it gives different result. The smaller it's, it push more air out (air cost). That's why some case with 30 cal this gun can go over to 1000+ FPS. I haven't test on 9mm caliber yet.
It's a very good rifle but yet not being mention in many "top airgun".

@@hypno17 I have both the T9 and L2, it's like a Prius and European build Mercedes. In the end, both will get you where you want to be, but the Prius does it with more hickups. The T9 .357 is okay but it's semi auto technology is still fully dependent on the flimsy magazines (achilles heel for AEA/BinTac) granted, they are alloy for the T9 but the plastic transp. cover is still a weak link. The L2 pushes your pellets through the magazine. No probe, no hammer just pfffffft air.
It's almost as accurate as the Gauntlet 2SL 30CAL 😂

And here’s another thing about working pressures 1700 psi 2000 psi is not enough to get real accuracy out of slugs. My K-1 has been set up for a year and a half now shooting 1150 FPS and it’s 22 caliber using 40 grain slugs. I should under a half inch rack is that just a lock rack? Of course I laughed and polish the barrel, like I always do but how many half inch when the gun started out it was under an inch it was 7/8 of an inch, which is still great. This is the fabric you said what that I don’t know what I’m talking about. I owned a Leshy 2 in 25 with their expensive moderator. After a few months it was all over the place on an accuracy basis. The tank would not hold air for very long. Took it to Brian, Edgun West, and they charged me to fix it! I had their mod kit, everything. These guns are good short term, but long term they are crap. You'll never know that from these type of quick evaluations. Also, most of these people are not buying these, and in many cases are working WITH Edgun West. I got rid of the gun. Keep your money, and buy an FX or a Daystate or something else. I owned 2 Edguns, and just about every other high end gun. EDGUN was the worst, and Edgun West has the worst customer service.

Over the years air gun nation has been paid to take down. Any negativity about FX products people feel that there is nowhere for them to go to get the issues taken care of with the product they bought that is not what they saw it doing on FX videos, I think that this would be a great time to have a class action lawsuit. Because FX has not delivered. Their barrels are the worst going wreck and you know it. I have fixed those barrels. I will not do another barrel I had guys asking me to do the barrels. I’m gonna have to charge them 600 bucks to fix an FX liner. I told him just go get another barrel and I’ll machine that’s what we did. We put CZ barrels on their guns and they became half inch to three-quarter inch groups at 100 yards every time no flyers.

But a really good power out of it it’s weakness is it valve system and the plastic parts. You will never get real power out of it. You’ll get average power. When will you be shooting the bin tech MCAR 1000 yard air rifle. That gun fills to 7000 psi 4500 regulated will shoot a 310 grain 457 slug at 1185 FPS 5 inch group at 800 yards. I very much doubt you’ll ever review that since her in the pocket of f(x).

A gun that advanced you will keep hidden from your channel. Do you want to shoot that old design junk of a fx . The barrels will not allow you to shoot over 950 FPS accurately because they have a choke in the poorly made. DMCAR has a heavy bull barrel.
