The thing in Skinwalker is Black imposter as a shapeshifter. The shapeshifter is a type of imposter, if you know the new roles in among us you would’ve known this.

Fun fact: hard and blackout difficulty have different stories and song remixes in story mode and in black's week the 4th song only appear in blackout difficulty

That's a shapeshifter/skinwalker.
It is an actual thing in the base game and is used to trick the crewmates but it has a cooldown. I'm assuming that Black's shapeshift/skinwalk died out and is revealing Black.
