Being a owner of these for the last month I can agree comfort is unsatisfactory and always a risk it is about to fall out, also hate the fact it does not have multi point Bluetooth sucks coming from apple environment. However build sound quality are phenomenal and blow away the airpod pros. Thanks again!
I would agree that getting the right fit is a challenge. I ended up using the large silicon tips on a road cycling ride today for 3 hours. Whenever I checked the fit, they didn’t move at all. Some of it is “screwing” them into place and assuring that they sit in the cradle of your ear. As I only use the non-traffic side and at 60% (today), this isn’t a challenge. True they are lower volume and I’m also testing the MW08 Sport in parallel (longer battery life, secure fit). It’s tough, but try all the ear tips as they may also vary from ear to ear.
Hey guys as always LOVED your review. You always have tons of important info and you do it all with a great entertaining sense of humor generally. I actually had these ear buds in my cart at one point, but then decided to wait. You brought up what I feel is a major / MAJOR point and possible NO GO re: FIT. It's not just your review...that lol maybe you both have super unique ear holes..but I have seen several reviews now that talk about the fit AND or even when they do fit, "that they FEEL like they may fall out." For me that would interfere with my enjoyment of MAYBE having THE best sounding buds. It becomes tiring when buds either hurt your ears and or don't feel secure esp at $400!! Yes I'm sure they may fit SOME ears well but too many ppl mention a bad fit so it MUST be a real thing...BTW haha I know you guys don't agree AT ALL, I own the B&W PI7S and by far they are my best sounding buds and the fit is AWESOME and secure, connections have been PERFECT too oh well.. :) In any case great review and I really enjoy your channel. You both seem like real nice fun people as well. Well done!
The volume isn’t too bad on these. If you take the buds up to 80% they are just as loud as the Sony’s at 70%. However, you don’t have the distorted sound that the Sony’s have. At peak volume the EQs are hella loud. My only gripes are that you only get one pair of comply foam tips and that there are no track controls outside of pausing the music.
Between the low max volume and the stink ANC these are going to be an easy pass for me. Too bad because I really wanted to like these. Thanks for bringing me the exact type of information I needed to come to this conclusion. 😁👍

Actually the ear detection function are there. Music will pause on the bud that is not in your ear, different implementation/approach to pausing than other companies.
There is a new firmware that enables MULTIPOINT!!! That was the only thing I was missing with these awesome buds. And it works FLAWLESSLY! There are a couple additional improvements like triple tap for skip forvard/backwad and Google fast pairing. both of those weren't an issue for me, but they're nice to have. I also hear the sound improvement, but that might be a placebo. The best TWS's just became even better!!!
I can tell that sound core is loud enough tnx God and engineers who make this. In term of high sound fidelity you nead to look somwhere else, but for casual listening is good enough. I like to know what capable product firm Anker can provide to us for 2 or 3 time more cost then liberty3pro.I think something extraordinary and truly amazing. For me is interessant a new jvc. He made driver from wood and wood is the best material for warm and natural quality sound. Jvc is for me one of the best manufactirer for home theather high end pj and for others. Japanese tech was always a very best and probobly this new jvc in ear is not exception in that part, but we nead a quality and detailed rewiew for discovered more,but price is like Beopley eq,maybe now 50 eur/usd more.
they are now bargain price in EU, almost half price of EX EDIT update: BOUGHT THEM i was scared if they gonna fit and low volume (iphone user) - they fit perfectly, with comply tips the best... volume: there are moments when i get hyped with some songs and had to put it to 100%, but never needed more... listening 70-90% been using ibasso it00 wired iems so far, it gets louder and i screwed my hearing for some time, strong tinnitus and vertigos - i am happy this doesn't get louder, it's just fine sound quality is superb, hell better than my IEMs these are my first TWS, super happy
For that price I would expect much more ANC quality. Sony's xm4 are top notch on that matter. Good ANC makes the Sony's sound better than they truly are, just because of the low frequency cut, which makes bass feel more spacious and audible. I wouldn't think twice on getting the B&O if the ANC was greater
How do the sound samples make any sense?! Played through the earbuds, recorded with a mic, then compressed via UA-cam and played back via my sound system? That's just random.

I wanted to ask a question, I would like to get a pair of headphones that are the top in both audio quality, and that allow me to be able to call without having to repeat things twice, but I really don't know which one to choose, each headset offers something that someone lacks 'other, I was interested in the pi7, but also the beoplay and q fascinated me, I like the sennheiser but compared to the two I found them a very small step below, between which two would you recommend me? I‘m blown away by the H95 and asking myself if I should get the EQ. Have the MTW2 and can’t get a fit although I tried every tip that I could find. Seems to be the same for the EQ. It’s available for Eur 140 now. Or should I wait until the EX come down on price. Don’t need it but I don’t like the Sennheiser sound anymore after getting my H95 By the way your sound samples are not working for me. Please switch the different headphones or Earbuds within one song so that they can be compared. Then change to the next song and switch through the different earbuds again.

I heard terible wind noise sound when you guys made phone calls testing. I guess these EQ got trouble with wind noise just like Sony wf-1000xm3 even when you guys use ANC and transparency mode but you didn't mention in this video. Can you confirm that ???
You guys are awesome! Also, I’m sure the sound of the EQs are amazing as B&O are known for it but “all around” is still AirPods as king. The audio is way sub par but factor in the transparency mode and amazing call quality and Apple still holds top. Also… TEST TEST TESTICLE… YOU HAD IT MAN LOL
I wouldn’t compare Apple to Bang & Olufsen in the sound signature department. That’s like comparing Toyota to Rolls Royce. AirPods Pro not only look atrocious, but they sound absolutely poor like cheap earbuds from Amazon or Wish
What wired iem or earphone can this EQ be comparable in terms of sound? Not specific sound signature but atleast in same tier..whatever the price. I am thinking to move into TWS from wired iem
Excellent review! I loved the sound signature of these. However, I sent them back as I could not get a great fit in one of my ears. Even after trying all sizes of the Comply foam and silicone tips. Another concern, the right ear bud went out on me twice in a week. While listening to music, it kind of “popped” then stopped working. I had to put it back in the case for a minute to get it to work again. I’m sure B&O would’ve replaced it, but that plus difficulty with fit made me return. I really wanted to keep these, but for the price, I felt I should have no reservations on fit or quality.
I had really wanted to replace my Sony wf-1000xm4 with these buds based on this review I'm not convinced it worth the extra over the xm4. Or maybe I try it out for myself and return if they not worth the price.
I replaced them for the eqs i felt that the sonys weren't loud enough even when noise canceling was on, they do have their issues especially the fit but the sound is amazing the only other pair i had were the airpods pros
@@Mando-91 if you compare these with mx4, mx4 sound would like garbage trust me. I sold my mx4 after tesing beoplay. If u only have mx4 is great but after u heard beoplay eq u would like to throw sony hahah

Use the large Compley isolation foam tips. Makes the anc and sound better. Plus if they fall out your head banging to music. These earbuds are fine but for 400 they should blow your shoes off your feet.

I have the PI 7’s and listened to the video on Bose quiet confront as well as power beats pro and nura buds . I didn’t notice the huge difference in sound quality they spoke of. I have no idea what they used, but I have noticed their preference for Sony which sounds like a lot of software influencing their sound.
@@coreyspivey9171 they didn't use a good mic to record the earbuds. They should have used 3dio mic like Brian Tong in the airpod max review. Yeah they are sony fanboys. Sony earphones are over rated. They don't want to admit that beoplay sound better than the Sony's.
We've always said that the samples are just a representation ans you shouldn't take them too seriously. We see the confusion now and it's maybe time to stop posting samples till we get multi thousand dollar mics indeed. Unfortunately not something we can afford. Also - not sure what made us 'Sony fanboys', but you are entitled to any opinions you have. :)
To the people who plan on buying these, be prepared to to have your gps and bluetooth on at all time since these sadly wont work without gps turned on.... it used to be... facebook wants to know your location but let me tell you, the tables has turned xD
Did you guys intentionally decided to ignore the fact that the B&O decided not to include the most basic touch controls and decided not to include track control that is the ability to skip or rewind the track into their touch gestures a control that most buds at this price range easily have implemented in their touch controls, or were you planning to share that with us at some point before the end of this review. Don't get me wrong I am a fan of both the channel and the product infact I am a huge supporter of the B&O and despite the EQ touch control gestures short coming of forcing you to have your phone near by everytime you decide to skip or rewind a track the sole purpose of wireless convenience is out the windows ... it's like getting kicked in the teeth by B&O for supporting a premium yet crippled product schelling out big time for their latest and greatest, and get short changed in the end. Some how I personally find it a bit awkward and indiscreet having to talk loud into the buds in while in public to get the phone assistant hit or miss action to do what the touch controls should have easily been made able to do, skip or rewind !!!
You're right. The controls are fairly limited. But we think that volume controls are far more important, so decided to focus on that. Either way, we agree with you - these are not no-compromise buds.
I prefer skip & turnback control than volumes control because i use syns volumes in Apple Music and Spotify but the volume is lower. However, someone said that the volumes on B&O EQ is lower than PI7 which isn't enough for me so i cant even use that syns volume feature. Fortunately, B&O is the hardwork sound company in upgrade firmware for their earphone so think they will found better ways to make their customers pleasured in the future.

1) Senn: natural vocals
2) B&W: harsher vocals but tighter/deeper bass

Just remember take these with a grain of salt as it will be tuning of your current setup + the earphones itself so it won’t be accurate at all

Yeah the new update were kinda meh since I have workaround for skipping tracks. But the multipoint were IMO very well executed
I love my Beoplay EQ very much, sounds midrange sweet, bass very tight, very involving. ANC a bit weird I could hear white noise in the background.

Sonys flagship in ear xm4 had pretty whole package but for me its missing sound quality and its not loud enough, more loud was their previous model.

I wouldn’t compare Apple to Bang & Olufsen in the sound signature department. That’s like comparing Toyota to Rolls Royce. AirPods Pro not only look atrocious, but they sound absolutely poor like cheap earbuds from Amazon or Wish

Hard to say what that money's worth for you. For us, the Beoplay are better sounding.

I got my EQs free and I still hate them. Loved my E6s but they broke twice, hence why I got a free pair on EQs.

I'm confused between neutral and anc on the eq settings
Excellent review! I loved the sound signature of these. However, I sent them back as I could not get a great fit in one of my ears. Even after trying all sizes of the Comply foam and silicone tips. Another concern, the right ear bud went out on me twice in a week. While listening to music, it kind of “popped” then stopped working. I had to put it back in the case for a minute to get it to work again. I’m sure B&O would’ve replaced it, but that plus difficulty with fit made me return. I really wanted to keep these, but for the price, I felt I should have no reservations on fit or quality.

I had really wanted to replace my Sony wf-1000xm4 with these buds based on this review I'm not convinced it worth the extra over the xm4. Or maybe I try it out for myself and return if they not worth the price.
I replaced them for the eqs i felt that the sonys weren't loud enough even when noise canceling was on, they do have their issues especially the fit but the sound is amazing the only other pair i had were the airpods pros

Use the large Compley isolation foam tips. Makes the anc and sound better. Plus if they fall out your head banging to music. These earbuds are fine but for 400 they should blow your shoes off your feet.

I have the PI 7’s and listened to the video on Bose quiet confront as well as power beats pro and nura buds . I didn’t notice the huge difference in sound quality they spoke of. I have no idea what they used, but I have noticed their preference for Sony which sounds like a lot of software influencing their sound.
@@coreyspivey9171 they didn't use a good mic to record the earbuds. They should have used 3dio mic like Brian Tong in the airpod max review. Yeah they are sony fanboys. Sony earphones are over rated. They don't want to admit that beoplay sound better than the Sony's.
We've always said that the samples are just a representation ans you shouldn't take them too seriously. We see the confusion now and it's maybe time to stop posting samples till we get multi thousand dollar mics indeed. Unfortunately not something we can afford.

To the people who plan on buying these, be prepared to to have your gps and bluetooth on at all time since these sadly wont work without gps turned on.... it used to be... facebook wants to know your location but let me tell you, the tables has turned xD
Did you guys intentionally decided to ignore the fact that the B&O decided not to include the most basic touch controls and decided not to include track control that is the ability to skip or rewind the track into their touch gestures a control that most buds at this price range easily have implemented in their touch controls, or were you planning to share that with us at some point before the end of this review.
Don't get me wrong I am a fan of both the channel and the product infact I am a huge supporter of the B&O and despite the EQ touch control gestures short coming of forcing you to have your phone near by everytime you decide to skip or rewind a track the sole purpose of wireless convenience is out the windows ... it's like getting kicked in the teeth by B&O for supporting a premium yet crippled product schelling out big time for their latest and greatest, and get short changed in the end.
Some how I personally find it a bit awkward and indiscreet having to talk loud into the buds in while in public to get the phone assistant hit or miss action to do what the touch controls should have easily been made able to do, skip or rewind !!!
You're right. The controls are fairly limited. But we think that volume controls are far more important, so decided to focus on that. Either way, we agree with you - these are not no-compromise buds.
I prefer skip & turnback control than volumes control because i use syns volumes in Apple Music and Spotify but the volume is lower. However, someone said that the volumes on B&O EQ is lower than PI7 which isn't enough for me so i cant even use that syns volume feature. Fortunately, B&O is the hardwork sound company in upgrade firmware for their earphone so think they will found better ways to make their customers pleasured in the future.
At that price, this is a pass. Would love a comparison between these and the Sen TW2
they gave a sound comparison, pretty much neck and neck in my opinion
