Hi there ! I might be a little late but I’m planning to go to Zadar in august and take a few days in Dugi Otok, near Sakarun beach but I’d like to know if I can rent a scooter upon arrival off the ferry ? Thanks !

      Hi!
You can rent a scooter at an agency called Alamo. They are based in Sali, which is on the southern side of the island.
Regarding the arrival point, I suppose you won't need ferry at all (you won't travel by car, will you?). There are fast catamaran lines from Zadar Old Town peninsula to the villages of Sali and Božava. Two companies operate there, so you might wanna check the websites of GV Line Zadar and Jadrolinija.
The village of Božava is the closest to Sakarun Beach and you can rent bikes and e-bikes at the local hotels there.
I hope this will give you some guidance.
      🙂

The lake is not called Mir, but it is called Salt Lake

It is a salt lake and its Croatian name is Mir. 🙂 Although it's not really relevant here.
