Love that you didn't stretch this out to a 50+ minute video with multiple sponsor messages in the middle of a video
Dude, you’re living the best life. Love your content. Keep it coming, Matt.
Great shorter format. Glad you included the cart review and restaurant
I've been fortunate enough to play this course and Caledonia across the street. When we played 2016 or so, Caledonia was the most beautiful golf course I had ever seen, huge flower gardens behind most greens, but also quite enjoyed True Blue, excellent duo to play in Myrtle Beach. Spectacular last hole.
Caledonia, True Blue’s sister course is a real treat. My favorite course in MB. I agree… you have to play that. Sad you missed it!
I've played True Blue several times in the World AM. The course is great and the people there are even better... Always love getting this course on my list when I head down to Myrtle Beach to play.....
You should come to Alabama and play the Robert Trent Jones golf trail. Great courses and friendly people
Cambrian Ridge.
@@GOBGOLF wonderful course
@@homeofinventionsoh look a hater with nothing useful to add to the conversation
I really enjoyed this video. I have played true blue as a 20 handicap, a 15 handicap and a 10 handicap. Just really enjoyed this video. Thanks
Great golf school at True Blue, the Steve Dresser Golf Academy. Hope to get back there someday.
Looking forward to trying True Blue….i played it’s sister course, Caledonia, a few years back and it is a top 10 course I’ve played 👍🏼
Beautiful track! Keep the great videos coming Matt!
Great course!!! Got to play it a few years back. Came back to play Caledonia. Enjoyed True Blue more as I got to play with some rangers and course knowledge was an advantage
Great course, looks like you played well too.
We enjoyed playing True Blue!
What a great looking course. I love seeing the different course layouts outside of Texas.
Excellent video as always, MSG! Love how you show all aspects of a course. Well done & informative. 👍🏻⛳️❤️
Really like the production values in this video. Quick cuts - no wasted time. Going to MB in a few weeks and plan to sample True Blue
My man! That course looks BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for the cart review. I truly enjoy these. That cart looked like the ones in my muni (except for the awesome GPS) and looked tired lol. Those slicked out tires helped with the drifting I'm sure. Never had sweet potatoe fries with powdered sugar... looked yummy. I got to try those! Keep up the hard work MSG!
Great video love that course. It’s my favorite in Myrtle Beach. I play it every time I go down there.
Good approach on 18 even though it went long. That porch is great place to have breakfast (great breakfast there btw) and watch 9 out of 10 players bail to the right
I played there a few times, the course is beautiful, the ball sits up on the fairway so nice.
E-bike on the golf course that’s sick 🔥
Looks like a very nice course and great condition.
Love these reviews.
I have lived in Myrtle Beach for 24 years and have played True Blue but it's been a while. I typically play regularly about 2 to 3 times a week. One of my golf buddy's played there not that long ago and said it was is pretty bad shape...
That a great course ..played this place about 3 years ago..beautiful
Mrytle Beach is always great for golf.
Love the content Matt keep it up 👍
Matt, I could watch your tempo swing on repeat all day!
Probably one of my favorite places to play. Big Mike Stranz fan. If i get to Myrtle, it's play on I'm out of the trip. Also, need to get to Royal New Kent...Stranz puts your mind and game to the test
MSG! With that music I thought Axel Foley was gonna pop out! Haha love the videos and I will drive from Buford to Myrtle someday
Played there it is an amazing course.
Would love to play it. Love your videos
You could spend months in Myrtle Beach area. Could make it your second home.
Your approach game was on point.
Watching an old video of yours. (just found your channel, love it). The Sherman CC. U talked about lip gloss for chaffing. Use a dryer sheet in pocket. Trust me 20+ years in a factory. This eliminate all chaffing.
Love your videos just wish you would make them longer with golf play, love seeing more of the courses and your golf, I live in the golf capital of the world dirty Myrtle 😄
Wedgefield in Georgetown just outside Myrtle Beach is another beautiful course
Oddly, my favorite part of the video was you on the range. Your swing is so dang smooth, it really looks like you have absolutely maximized mechanical efficiency in your swing.
Great Video. We vacation in Pawleys Island often and always stay at True Blue. I wish you had showed how you played on #4. It is a great risk/reward par 5. I hope you got to play Caledonia and Pawleys Plantation. They are both beautiful courses.
Another great video
Your game looks solid man! I enjoy these videos of different top level golf courses, however, I do miss u competing against other utubers! The last match I remember was u vs the long haired blonde headed kid?
Thank you for the love and the visit! We really enjoy your videos. Let's do it again soon!
Glen Dornoch in north strand is worth the visit . Let’s go
Jees.... striping it MSG!
MSG Subscriber from Murrells Inlet, welcome!
Gallery in Tucson, has that 2 green setup on number 15 but it a par 3
Desert Hawk Golf Course in Pueblo West, Colorado. The course is nice and well maintained. The views are AMAZING.
I live 3 hrs away & 16 of the guys go down every year for the last 17 years & have played a total of 37 different courses down in Myrtle Beach. Try the 3 Legends courses the next time your down there!!
Head to St. Simons island next. Sea Island, Frederica and Ocean Forrest. OF and Frederica are private but I’m sure you can get on. A lot of professional golfers live on the island and it’s such a cool spot to be!
You should totally come do MCRD Parris Island's course and review it.
Thanks for sharing, would recommend to also share what are the green fees/ value for money.
can you add a little more of the pro shops into the reviews? like the club covers, ball markers etc
So your the guy holding up everyone making the turn while you have lunch 😂😂
I like being able to hit low runners in links courses in case there is a 25-35 wind. I have problems hitting it over the wind.
You have to come and play Victoria Links in Carson, CA. Give your honest opinion of a public course.
Would love to see you review The Prairie Club in valentine, Ne.
I'm guessing you're missing those putts because the top front of the putter doesn't have an alignment mark on it. :D
Great video, love your channel and content.
There is an ancient analogy that I think applies to golf, paraphrased it is:
There is as much knowledge concerning golf as there are leaves on a tree, but only the leaves you can hold in your hands matters in mastering golf.
Golf in Thailand is one of the best golf experiences. As low as $50-60 for green fees, cart and caddy with tip.
You're always stylish but are you comfortable? I wouldn't mind seeing content on "on course comfort" for different seasons and different chunkiness. Great stuff as always Matt
Great review, Matt! I'd host you at my club anytime!
Mike Stranz courses are as beautiful and diabolical as Pete Dye courses.
Visit Pawleys Plantation! And Caledonia while there!
Vietnam course is amazing also
Matt, when are you going to do Tobacco Road, another Mike Stranz course?
I never looked at it as a links style course but I kinda see it now
Love the Vessel bag Brother. Fits your style.
I'm always interested in the story behind a golf course name, True Blue? What's up with the football theme in the pro shop?
Please come to Korea!!!!
You didn’t show the Cape hole! One of my favorites at the course. 😢😢
Love your videos. Have you ever been to The Bear in Traverse City Michigan? Designed by Jack himself.
Me and the boys will have to sponsor hole #1 by Badda bing. Killer course.
You should invite a follower for a round of golf that would be nice. And if it’s me you just have to cover my travel expenses from Aruba to wherever 😂. Keep it up
Was half-expecting video review on the showers 🤣
Need an updated shoe review video
How come no competition collaborations with Mr Short Game?
What are the shoes he's wearing?
Royal new Kent and Tobacco Road blow this away
True Blue is a great track, but it's pricy. Mike Strantz was also the architect at Caledonia & Tobacco Road...have you played those?
You need to travel to Asia for luxury golf , Thailand , Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, china
Love course… but always painfully SLOW play,, ( so bad last time vouchers were issued)
Come to Sanford NC (near Pinehurst) and play Strantz's best work, Tobacco Road with me on my channel! He has another one about an hour away near Asheboro called Tot Hill Farm.
As someone who goes to Myrtle almost every year for golf I think Caledonia is ten times better than True Blue. The design is awesome and hard to find a more nature oriented course. Only downside I will say right it seems Caledonia is cutting costs and it's showing with the course conditions. Greens aren't as fast as they used to be and almost every time I play it now it seems to be soaked. 13th tee there might be the wettest tee box you'll ever find.
Teaching is different then caddying
As a golf influencer like yourself, NEVER NEVER NEVER do THIS!: Shoot a clip with your hat off without having first fixed up your hair!! LOL LOL
Not going to lie...getting Pizza Hut vibes from that clubhouse. lol
Idea. Change it from “Unfiltered” to “Unraked” 🤷🏻♂️like an unraked bunker. Shit lie 😂 5:10
Well, that’s bullshit I have to give you a hateful comment before you will read it. 🤦♂️ but I don’t have any hateful things to say I like your videos 🤷♂️
If you ever need anyone to play with just give me a jingle I'm not a shabby player
Gas or electric golf cart?
Drifting in the waste bunkers? Now you know why the carts are in rough shape. People come from all over the world to golf here in Myrtle Beach, they aren’t always respectful to the courses.
Ain’t no white columns
Was holding out for the shower/locker room review.....
For goodness sake it’s not just America. Visit an Italian course …ah someone criticized you for that. Well. Stop saying what not to do, ah, I always find rehearsal of what not to do helps me do it right. Ok ignore that. Er, eat more greens. There. So do that! Fool!!! I mean veg and salad. Not the 18th. If you get to Europe. Call. I’ll buy the wine. Good stuff. Keep at it.
Played that course 5 years ago along with Caledonia & Olde Grandaddy all were AMAZING!!!
Stepping on a club, on the green, in front of the club house? C'mon man.
Golf carts are only as good as the respect they are shown.
Watch the videos, or as I like to call it, " Evidence. "
(star boys)?
I might want to come back some day, not that I go anywhere, BUT, leave it in better shape than you found it. Divots, bunkers, fairways.
Everyone knows the guy that borrows something, breaks it and returns it, still broken.
Now lets all get out there and trash somebody else's property.
And have a good time?
Pro shop or gift shop…..
Click bait looks Chinese
