This video follows the recently widened A15 along the southern side of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from Spijkenisse to Ridderkerk. It also features the "secret" A38.
That's quite a monster of freeway. Very impressive! Those flyover ramps have a unique look to them..haven't seen anything quite like them in the US or Canada. Maybe it was just the guardrail. Enjoyed the musical track as well. Big thumbs up!
Did you drive here yesterday? Because I was in this neighbourhood yesterday driving Taxi. Normally I drive in the other side of the country, so it would be a coincidence for me!
The EPIC stacks, tunnels, braids & weaves aside for a second, what’s the story behind that EXCESSIVE 50-60 foot tall sound wall?! Was it American levels of “NIMBYism” or something of that nature? “Hell no I don’t wanna live next to an expanded highway!” “Even if we triple the height of the typical soundwalls?!” “Hmmm… Okay! Deal!”
