- According to ABARES Australian agriculture is facing its most prosperous outlook for 30 years. It's an encouraging message but what's also very reassuring is, knowing that there's ongoing grains R&D to underpin that promising outlook. Especially in the Mungbean industry.

Muy buen reportaje...Saludos desde España
Give me information about how to grow mung beans. I also interested to use in India.
I am a Mung Bean producer in TOGO. How to buy non-GMO seeds with high yield potential and resistance to diseases and pests. Your response is highly desired. Receive our courtesies from TOGO, a country in West Africa.
So is the new breed genetically modified?
Depends on what you mean by that. Do you mean that these plants were engineered? Do you mean selected: to grow in certain conditions, grow a certain height, yield a certain amount of crop, etc.. Most farm plants, for thousands years, were "genetically modified" to behave or grow in favor of the farmer's desired result.
Are you talking about literal genetic manipulation in a lab?
Are the Chinese still buying?
