I'd fall for Guglielmo anytime in this rendition... The moves and vocals of Simon Keenlyside here is... dangerous. Irresistable.. I'd give in... again and again... And what an erotic Masterpiece from Mozart...
Words can't even describe how gorgeous this is! No one will be able to top these too - they are perfect and I second the person that said only Mozart could have written something this beautiful. And SImon Keenlyside's Guglielmo...no wonder Dorabella caved! :-)
Thanks. actually I really like this duet. it is simple and charming and I love Keenlyside & Graham voice. But I will post the "Fra gli amplessi" duet from the same production with Susan Chilcott & Rainer Trost. They were very good (weel, I am not a big fan of Trost). I will post it in the current of next week.
My old Salzburg recording with Brigitte Fassbaender and Hermann Prey might have topped this vocally, but not by a lot. Really fine work, and good acting, too.
Perfect singing & acting. Graham and Keenlyside give this duet full justice, but the duet is still a dog (sorry, Wolfgang). The tenor-soprano duet later in the show...Goodness, now THAT duet is genius (bravo, Wolfgang).
Bravo! Simon keenlyside
What a beautiful duet!
This is an all star cast in my opinion. My two favorite singers.

Absolutely beautiful!!
I love Cosi Fan Tutte so much! I think it is the best opera ever written.
I think so too. Keenlyside as Gluglielmo is wonderful! He is sooooo hot! and sings just like an angel.
Isn't that wild how a single perfect note in Mozart can do that? An utter pearl, I agree!
It starts with the words "Il core vi dono" "("This heart I give you") :) This is one of the greatest duets ever...it is magical :)
Excellent--heck, perfection again is the right word.
Beautiful rendition! I love this duet. Thank you so much for posting it! =)
This is absolutely a winner; I adore Cosi and all the available DVD's leave something to be desired. Would that this could be made available
splendide...
CosiFan Tutte is the closest thing to heavenly perfection. And this divine duet is as erotic as anything. Sublime and touched by God. Nothing less.
great rendition
Perhaps best piece ever made
Thanks

Mozart isn't something to like or not. He is the absolut in music, doesn't depend on our tastes and fashions. He is essencialy perfect.
Si sensuel ! si bien chanté, si beaux !
@eurydike yes , Google Opera house. On the site go to search and look for the DVD 527

c'est beau!
Exquisite! Only Mozart could have written this.
@carolinahermelina you are probably perfectly right, Mozart is sheer perfection:-)
Just my words...
Salzburg 1974 is close to unbeatable vocally but this is damn good, I might add..
is it possible to get this whole opera somewhere? i would like to have it too:-)

is this a dvd you purchased? if so, may i ask where...? i can't find i anywhere.
is it possible to buy this on DVD ?
Done !
the feeling intellect taken to its Godly conclusion by amadeus.
And the "Zauber Flute"??
How could she even think of resisting Simon Kennlyside?! With that voice and those looks, I think every woman would cave!
That's rather the point of a comedy, isn't it?
