I'm wondering why some people are commenting on supercell nowadays . I'm really a huge fan of ryo and I'm very impressed by him being able to compose a lot of different genre of songs . As for the artist , she's simply very unique and her 'technique' is what make her stand out from the other .
Ironically now there seems to be another influx… Created by V-Tuber songs/ Covers which make people look up/ Listen to Utaite which in turn gives them supercell as a recommendation. In my case Supercell got recommended to me around like what 3 years ago because it apparently is "Similar" to REOL.
you will be surprise, I only know about this band since 2015-2016 and some other people too. Seem like it one of several time that UA-cam algorithm actually do its job well
@@claudioclaudio7953check out koeda, she currently has two albums on her own(excluding ZIGAEXPERIENTIA), one is Nice to meet you and another one is Monshirochou, I, as a fan, love every single in the albums, hope you will find it enjoyable too! Also, supercell's Ryo(the composer), works with various artists as well, like Tia, Chelly, Hatsune Miku, so 'events' you see on wiki might refer to those artists rather than putting new album out themselves(as Supercell, that is)
The lyric is about the one who fall into the bottom of the sea, unable to see the light or shine the light on their own. And in that bottom of the sea everybody there's just a people with number on their back (means that they're just like a robot with nothing different except number on their back). And in the chorus he/she is talking to him/herself about the world above the sea "Is there a dream-like world over the water?". So I think No.525300887039 is a robot who have a though of its own and want not to follow the rule because he/she want to reach the surface.
@SirChocho They're both extremely talented vocalists. Koeda and Nagi take the top spot in my favourites. I can't really compare them though. Koeda's voice is sharp and her pitch ranges vary impressively. It does take a while for people to get accustomed to her voice, but I absolutely adore it. Nagi's voice is amazing. It's gentle and manages to reach notes smoothly and effortlessly. Sometimes it's so perfect, I think it's boring. But point is, they're both amazing.
Exactly how I would describe there voices! Well said! And Chelly of EGOIST sort of brides the gap between the other two. The variety is part of what makes Supercell so addicting and they've yet to put out a track that's sub-par in terms of quality.
SirChocho I actually think Nagi her solo work is horrible. But her collaborations with people who can make proper instrumental pieces and lyrics, like Jun and Ryo are just great.
Am i the only one who thinks Koeda's voice is just beautiful? I don't know... maybe it's because i've listened to her songs so many times that i'm used to it, but i love how unique she is.
I had no idea about the band when I watched Magi and Guilty Crown, but Koeda's voice was unmistakable. This song is definitely unique, I'm just checking out the album now.
Discovered their music in late 2014 through Spotify and loved it! The entire song is like “The Court of the Crimson King” by King Crimson meets “Muscle Museum” by Muse with some Ringo Shiina-inspired wailing.
funny because stopping people from being different is exactly what japan does, and is probably why they have the lowest crime rate, and communities are just stable, even if the economy isn't so much.
The people live with the expression of a cat, the same expression unreadable to any other. They're like puppets on a string controlled by the puppeteer, unable to escape from they're unchanging dull life. Ryo, you are a genius. Your compositions change one's aspect in life as it has changed mine. I hope that your music will continue to walk along this path than take another path and reach a dead end.
Supercell's music that made my dull teenage years colorful.... I can't believe it's been 3 or 4 years... Now here I am in 2017, listening to this and looking back... Thanks for making my adolescent life worth living ^ u ^
At the first time i heard koeda's voice i was like, wtf. But then i realize she has a great talent and now i really love her voice! no need to compare koeda and nagi, they both has perfect voice. sorry for bad english grammar
I've been visiting this video whenever I need to login into my steam account. I decide to leave a comment since I just changed the password after years. Thank you for the help till this day, and yeah the song is a banger. 💜
Wow, Koeda's voice has really matured. And she hasn't entirely gotten rid of the pinched tones, but instead used them creatively at certain high points of the song. Not to mention the instrumental for the song gives great support to her voice.
Stop comparing Nagi and Koeda, Ryo choose best singer for each song means Nagi cant sing as good as Koeda in her song chose by Ryo and its same for Koeda. For me both are great singer and they are the best.
I liked Supercell with Nagi and I like supercell now with Koeda and Chelly. Stop comparing them, they are differents, their styles are differents and it's because of this diversity that Supercell is really a great band.
Yes, but for example i fell in love with supercell music because of awesome ryo's compositions and beautiful nagi's voice. It's just hard to forget this voice for some people, and so they are talking about her all the time.I miss the time when i waited impatiently for new supercell album/single with nagi as well, so i guess im not the one to talk.I really like new vocalist as tho! its just that i miss nagi and supercell together.
Supercell was great. I was amazed when ryo came up on the internet with Miku. His lyrics which focused on a small daily moment were really sensitive, but that had a power to touch on my heart directly. Also his composition, especially, the balance between a piano and guitars was so impressive. However, I can't follow his recently music. I don't say ' be the way it's used to be'. But I think Ryo has kept going awry ...
Koeda and Chelly are still pretty young. Give them time to hone their skills. Nagi Yanagi is incredibly good but I believe Koeda and Chelly can reach her heights some day. Still I have to say Supercell's recent songs does not appeal to me as much as their older songs. Still, they are one of my favorite bands! Support them!
As much as I think that Koeda's voice is incredible, I still really miss Nagi. But she had to leave eventually anyway as she was just a guest singer. The songs she sings now just aren't as addicting as supercell's.
nagi isnt here anymore, why always compare nagi and koeda? koeda hs an unique character on vocal, nagi hs a nice power and ballad vocal... altought im still love nagi, but im still love koeda, she is perfect fit with supercell too!
to be honest.. i prefer to koeda she have such an unique voice with characteristic and that what i like from most of my fav singer such as yui, lozareena, scandal, while nagi's voice is nice, but that's it.. nothing unique, she might be great for pop, but for rock.. im sorry for nagi's fans boy, alot of song from her duet with another musician that should be a great rock song but their song loss their power due to her voice doesnt punchy enough.
@@robintan7324 as a fan of koeda for quite some time, i agree with you, to me, nagi's voice is soothing but i find it not very exciting to listen to for years, nagi is nice and all, but i think comparing them is just not fair, although nagi did get quite some exposure making her way solo and koeda certainly didn't get as much Ps: @cho_koeda, give her a follow on twitter! she does live streams singing occasionally, and has two albums by herself, cheers!
yeah.. i'm sad why there are still a lot of "nagi/koeda's voice is the best!" comments. i mean.. dude.. it's ryo-san's songs! both vocalist are great, no need to compare. :)

Absolutely agreed. The koeda era was perfect.

Wikipedia says they are still in activity and some of their last events were in august 2016. I hope a lot they won't stop.
