- Remove the headers. Don't try and do it while it's still on the bike.. honestly a nightmare.

Hey how long it takes only to decat and to get rebuild it?You dont get any errors on the screen? is the engine still smooth or its lazy and the low rpms?

When putting on a full exhaust or anything relating to midpipe do I need to get a servo buddy or just take off the wires and hang them up. I looked forever and cannot find a real answer. I have a full akra shorty system for my 13 s1000rr and I need to know if cutting them and hanging them up but not removing them causes any check engines or problems?
You'll only get a light come up if you disconnect the electrical plug on the servo. No servo buddy is needed if you leave it in place and just remove the cables to the valve.
Why was it impossible to fit the decat pipe without removing headers? Parts just arrived today, I’ll be taking this on project in the next few days!
The headers sit very close to the sump, also it will look absolutely horrible without welding.. they aren't a good fit at all
@@SpaceManDan Just finished the project right now! 6 in recip blade made fairly quick work of it. You were right, cutting upward is much easier. You had me worried there for a second! Required a little pressure to get the header into collector pipe but nothing excessive. Very happy with it. Thanks for your walkthrough though. Gave me a good idea of what I was getting into 👍👍👍
