Eventually people will get over their obsession over Cody winning the belt and they will want CM Punk to win. But both Seth and Cody realize business comes first, so they gonna put their feelings aside and be professionals and not risk getting fired because they have the most cushy sitautions in their life right now. Incorrect, according to insiders they all knew Punk was going to make an entrance at the end of the event. Do you really think that they did not know we was back with the WWE and just showed up out of nowhere? That is not how companies work and the WWE sets the stage for these things weeks and months in advance. They ALL knew he was returning at the end of the show, now some of them may not care for him but it is all a work as they have to work together as employees, it is not the wild west.

Cody had to know due to the finish (because why would you have Cody get the pinfall when it's Randy's big return night) and also due to the fact that he was in their plans for the title picture (at this point the Wrestlemania stuff wasn't finalized to what it ended up becoming). Rhea only knew when she was in gorilla waiting to come out with the briefcase tease. There's another angle of the entire sequence from ringside where you can see her during the post-match celebration communicating it to the others (Calls Dom over to the other side of the ring, Jay leans in at one point and she says something to him, Sami is rattling the cage back and forth and that's when she tells him.) Seth really had no idea and has since admitted this was the most unprofessional moment of his career. He says something to Rhea or Damien right before Punks music hit and looked as if it was a "ya'll playing a gag on me or something" -type reaction

What I'm thinking is that some people knew Punk was possibly being signed or in the midst of a deal, but that they didn't know he was going to come out tonight at the end of the match. Maybe the spotlight being taken away from the win is what set him off. It's hard to see this as a work because it wasn't filmed for the camera. Only makes the whole thing more interesting moving forward.
You know that wrestlers don't only work for cameras, right? There's a crowd, so there's always word of mouth, and every person has a camera nowadays, so odds are that people would film this and post it. Kayfabe isn't dead, just evolved.
I think they're playing off of trying to make this fued seem as a real as possible, and that means not capturing this moment on crispy WWE tv and letting social media do it's thing. Often times what generates the buzz is the unknown or the things we "weren't supposed to see". It's a work and it may very well lead to Seth vs Punk at 40.
It's probably a mix of work and shoot tbh. Seth clearly dislikes Punk, and he can channel that dislike to vent out in the ring. Then they can work out a storyline from the get go. Now, whether they can both actually work a match on the ring is another thing entirely. Though, Seth has done it in the past before with Matt Riddle... you can remain professional and do your job without actually having to like the other guy.
Untill he cries, tries to destroy the company, and ultimately quits. AGAIN. Enjoy it while you can, I give it less than a year. There's a pattern with him.

Not watched Raw in over a decade... this will bring me back to check it out. As long as it's not as lame as the Summer of Punk. WWE have a habit of dropping the ball on overhyped storylines. Well, least they did while Vince was in charge... I will be watching Raw with fresh eyes though. Hope they can keep my attention this time.

Actually people, if there is real heat between Rollins and Punk, there will never be a match between them, until it's resolved, so if Punk plans on sticking around, this would be a work. However ALL the wrestlers in that last match have every right to pissed that Punks return happened after their big match. This is definitely a work. The difference between AEW and WWE is that in WWE the wrestlers are more professional and are forced to work together. It doesn’t matter what beef they have with each other but they must temporarily put it all aside and be professionals and do the matches they need to do. An example is Seth and Matt Riddle. However, in AEW that is not the case. In AEW they just start fighting in the back, they are unprofessional backstage and sometimes bring that unprofessionalism into the ring. Seth probably is angry that CM Punk is there, but he has to be professional and knows CM Punk would bring ratings up. So he is just acting like this in order to get more people talking and looking forward to Monday night raw

Incorrect, according to insiders they all knew Punk was going to make an entrance at the end of the event. Do you really think that they did not know we was back with the WWE and just showed up out of nowhere? That is not how companies work and the WWE sets the stage for these things weeks and months in advance. They ALL knew he was returning at the end of the show, now some of them may not care for him but it is all a work as they have to work together as employees, it is not the wild west.

Cody had to know due to the finish (because why would you have Cody get the pinfall when it's Randy's big return night) and also due to the fact that he was in their plans for the title picture (at this point the Wrestlemania stuff wasn't finalized to what it ended up becoming). Rhea only knew when she was in gorilla waiting to come out with the briefcase tease. There's another angle of the entire sequence from ringside where you can see her during the post-match celebration communicating it to the others (Calls Dom over to the other side of the ring, Jay leans in at one point and she says something to him, Sami is rattling the cage back and forth and that's when she tells him.) Seth really had no idea and has since admitted this was the most unprofessional moment of his career. He says something to Rhea or Damien right before Punks music hit and looked as if it was a "ya'll playing a gag on me or something" -type reaction

What I'm thinking is that some people knew Punk was possibly being signed or in the midst of a deal, but that they didn't know he was going to come out tonight at the end of the match. Maybe the spotlight being taken away from the win is what set him off. It's hard to see this as a work because it wasn't filmed for the camera. Only makes the whole thing more interesting moving forward.

You know that wrestlers don't only work for cameras, right? There's a crowd, so there's always word of mouth, and every person has a camera nowadays, so odds are that people would film this and post it. Kayfabe isn't dead, just evolved.
I think they're playing off of trying to make this fued seem as a real as possible, and that means not capturing this moment on crispy WWE tv and letting social media do it's thing. Often times what generates the buzz is the unknown or the things we "weren't supposed to see". It's a work and it may very well lead to Seth vs Punk at 40.
Also, sometime that shoot the "exclusive footage" after the PLE is off the air. Just to show it the next show.

It's probably a mix of work and shoot tbh. Seth clearly dislikes Punk, and he can channel that dislike to vent out in the ring. Then they can work out a storyline from the get go. Now, whether they can both actually work a match on the ring is another thing entirely. Though, Seth has done it in the past before with Matt Riddle... you can remain professional and do your job without actually having to like the other guy.

That really wasn't a good time for his return, that should have happened before that match, so the fan's would be more hyped going into the beginning of the match, not to mention, taking away from Ortons return. It doesn’t matter what beef they have with each other but they must temporarily put it all aside and be professionals and do the matches they need to do. An example is Seth and Matt Riddle. However, in AEW that is not the case. In AEW they just start fighting in the back, they are unprofessional backstage and sometimes bring that unprofessionalism into the ring.
Seth probably is angry that CM Punk is there, but he has to be professional and knows CM Punk would bring ratings up. So he is just acting like this in order to get more people talking and looking forward to Monday night raw

This is my opinion. That is positive thinking of HHH to bring CM Punk back to WWE and it good time in Chicago because of Punk's hometown. But I think it will be more exciting when he return as Roman Reings next opponent. RAw already have main superstars. Smackdown haven't.
