@@chrisconquer123 Thanks for the reply. My concern is if the taps (or backflow pressure) could draw contaminated water / particles from around the nozzle end of the sprayer (even if not submerged in the event of flooding) into the fresh supply?
@@harryz81 Hi. Hadn't thought about that until now. If I was redoing it i would fit a new isolation valve on the t coupler or Replace the t to the required item. It was purchased on amazon, so I suspect didn't countries have different laws about this. Take care Chris
@ It might not be possible for it to suck water/air back through the bidet (especially when it's closed), but I'm not sure (not a plumber) maybe the potentially dangerous water remains in the pipe (or nozzle) connected to the bidet and will be flushed out when used/cleaned next? You would think the suppliers would make this most important aspect clear. I don't want to purchase one if the risk to health is too great. 😔
@@harryz81 it was cheap, so if you look for one for the UK it might have one fitted. I'll do s bit of research and if I find something I'll post it on my youtube. Thanks. Chris
Since it uses the same water feed as the toilet, the water is unheated. Seems like it could be chilly.
Is a bit
Nice video. Do these have any backflow prevention built in?
