Now I don't think this will be the last of True Ogre!!
What I see is that when True Ogre is in the background the entire place no longer blackens up into nothing but darkness like it did in Tekken 3.

Man, it would have been cool if Ogre transformed to True Ogre when you switch character. Like with Kazuya and Devil.
Well, in my theory, Devil and Unknown separated True Ogre from Ogre, which would later be the inspiration for how Nightmare was separated from Siegfried in Soul Calibur III.
Now that you mention it, that would've been interesting to witness!

Devil vs. True Ogre in the end was pretty nice.
I noticed that Ogre has many of some character's way to fight ... It's like Anna , Baek , Jun , Wang , Bruce , Heiachi , Kuma and even Kunimitzu have mixed into Ogre
Why didn't they make ogre and true ogre transform when tagging since they're the same being like devil and kazuya

True Ogre and Devil hitting one another with their projectile attacks two times each in their match is cool, too.
They should make Tekken tag but they to worried about juggles
Ogre / True Ogre, Alex, Roger and Yoshimitsu are my favorite characters that is in my opinion the best series of games were Tekken Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament whose main motive and gather all the characters from the first until the third game. Azuka in Tekken 5 .. and one that I prefer

@dajamsteryo the thing is in tekken 3 Ogre did transform into True Ogre but tekken tag is non-canonical therefore none of this wouldn't make sense anyway.
Ogre's change into True Ogre is evolution. It's not something that can simply be changed back like Kazuya/Devil or Jin/Devil Jin.
Ogre's Level is the old-school-version of Azazel's Chamber

Still wondering whether they're gonna include the original Ogre in TTT2 though...

@IsmoLaitela30e Devil is actually in TT2 but Kazuya does a Move to Transform into Him.I hope for the console version devil gets his own Character slot.

@Patrick112391 nah I think its what some other guy said. Kazuya and Devil have the same model, like their bodies are the same height and width. Whereas True Ogre is huge and much larger than normal Ogre so it would have been much harder to do a transformation between the two without any glitches, whereas it was easy with Devil and Kazuya cos they're the same size
why the hell were there so many awkward moments where you'd do absolutely nothing?

Because Ogre killed King 1 after the events of Tekken 2. King 2 is the guy behind the jaguar mask from Tekken 3 and onwards.

Did Ogre do a stabbing move from Kunimitsu? You know it doesn't work as well without a dagger
no if they do that that means ogre is as strong as ogre so it will be akuma>ancient ogre if they was add true ogre as boss they should put shin akuma against it

You do, otherwise you wouldn't have complained about Ogre not transforming.

Still doesn't matter, Ogre can't "transform" into True Ogre. It would've been cool if that could happen.

They might still do so in TTT2 you never know.
Morphing Ogre into True Ogre just wouldn't happen. An Aztec god changing form is very different to a human changing into the devils blood form. Evolution is permanent, transforming is interchangeable. Pokemon evolutions are also permanent, they don't change back. Similarities can be found in more places than you think, you see why this is relevant?

they should've put Akuma for street fighter characters as the boss and Ogre/True ogre as tekken characters final boss dont you think?

devil and devil-jin is probably best team in Tekken tag 2

Charachters came with the animation pattern from tekken 3. This game itself was just a resolution and texture upgrade with half of the charachters sharing the moveset with the other half.
Compared to the original Soul Calibur it is not that impressive.

@phillipandheather It is using tekken 3 stages but they are just look completely different and revamped so you can`t tell it.Look at the arcade version of Tekken Tag.And marshall has been in every game since t4 and i am glad they used forest in this game but it would be cool to make a Marhsall and forest tag team.Go on twitter and ask for Forest law to be in TTT2.I want to make a tag team of two bruce lees!

@BENCASH4568A I will be pissed off if not every character in in Tekken Tag 1 isn't in it (though I can see someone like Unknown not being in it and I hope the finished version has Devil as a separate character as well as letting Kazuya control him)
But if you think of it in Tekken 3 Ogre grabbed Heihachi To transform so yeah.....
Epic Fail that the game lets you tag these two together they are the same creature , they should have done a devil + kazuya thing with kogre turning into true ogre etc

The standing one.. square,triangle and (depending which way yr facing,) left, right on the dpad, for the flying one it's simply square triangle at the same time
