The real Ciel had so much he was meant to do, and so many people who loved him; our Ciel took his older brothers place not for that fame or for that love but because he deeply cared for his older brother, and didn’t want the people who loved his older brother to know that Ciel was truly gone. He did it because he loved his brother and wanted him to live on, even if it meant throwing away his true name and becoming someone he wasn’t, because to do so meant that all these people who loved the real Ciel only had to grieve a spare, not the one they loved. And that’s harsh, yes, but in a way it’s also somewhat kind; in our ciel’s eyes, this was better then the truth, a lie to spare the pain of losing someone everyone else cared for, and also a punishment- he blames himself, deep down, for surviving. Carrying his older brother’s name and place is also his own punishment, a reminder that he failed, that he is the sole survivor, and he now has to live up to all his older brother could have been, to atone for what he thinks are his sins. It’s very clever, yet it’s like nearly every character doesn’t see how painful it must have been to pretend to be someone our Ciel lost, to silently carry the burden and grief, all so Elizebeth and everyone else could believe they hadn’t lost Ciel. @@mellwee67 Не так давно я перечитывала мангу, там не было имени, там было только название крови и "Господин Сириус", но так называли не нашего Сиэля изначально, и это не имя, а, скорее, обращение как раз таки в честь названия крови (?) В общем, это пока что не имя, имени в манге ещё не озвучивали. Так что нам разрешено верить в любые теории, и поэтому я сейчас придерживаюсь теории с "Астре"
